Soil microbes are important components in element cycling and nutrient supply for the development of alpine ecosystems. However, microbial community compositions networks context wetland degradation is unclear. We applied high-throughput 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing to track changes communities along gradients from typical (W), wet meadow (WM), (M), grassland (G), desert (D) Zoige region on Tibetan Plateau. water content (SWC) decreased as progressed (79.4 9.3% W D soils, respectively). Total organic carbon (TOC), total nitrogen (TN), phosphorus (TP) increased soils WM, then with wetlands WM M, G, D, respectively. Wetland did not affect richness diversity G but soils. Microbial structure was strongly affected by degradation, mainly due SWC, TOC, TN, TP. SWC primary soil physicochemical property influencing networks. In areas, Actinobacteriota, Acidobacteriota, Cholorflexi, Proteovacteria closely interacted network. Compared W, Actinobacteriota played an role co-occurrence network This research contributes our understanding how composition change varied properties during different wetlands.
