We sought to develop and validate a self-assessment burnout scale of the Chinese general population during COVID-19 pandemic in context dynamic zero-COVID policy. The primary aim was to evaluate the burnout prevalence among healthcare workers (HCWs) in intensive care units (ICUs) and emergency departments (EDs) during COVID-19 pandemic. secondary identify factors associated with this population. A systematic review conducted following PRISMA guidelines by searching PubMed, Embase, PsychINFO, Scopus from 1 January 24 November 2020. Burnout among healthcare personnel has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic's unique features. During pandemic, this systematic review and meta-analysis aims to provide a complete assessment of prevalence burnout across various personnel. Until January 2021, searches for English language papers were conducted using PubMed, Scopus, EMBASE, Web Science, Cochrane Library, ProQuest. Thirty observational studies found after conducting searches. The pooled overall was 52% [95% confidence interval (CI) 40-63%]. Pooled emotional exhaustion (EE), depersonalization (DP), lack personal accomplishment (PA) 51% (95% CI 42-61%), 39-65%), 28% 25-31%), respectively. This study demonstrated that nearly half workers experienced during pandemic. In included, non-frontline exposed also burnout. From high lower middle-income countries, there gradient in total burnout, EE, PA. Further on low lower-middle-income countries are suggested. A uniform diagnostic tool is warranted.

The coronavirus-19 (COVID-19) pandemic is putting a severe strain on all healthcare systems. Several occupational risk factors are challenging workers (HCWs) who at high of mental health outcomes, including Burnout Syndrome (BOS). BOS psychological syndrome characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and low personal accomplishment. An umbrella review systematic reviews meta-analyses concerning coronavirus (SARS/MERS/SARS-CoV-2) outbreaks was carried out PubMed Central/Medline, Cochrane Library, PROSPERO, Epistemonikos databases. Data relating to COVID-19 insufficient, but in previous SARS MERS about one-third HCWs manifested BOS. Objective This meta-review aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of overall mental health healthcare professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method We conducted literature search on Academic Search Premier, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, and MEDLINE. A predefined eligibility criterion was used screen articles. The methodology quality eligible studies assessed using Joanna Briggs Institute checklist for systematic reviews. data were narratively synthesised in line with aim. Result Forty reviews (represented as K = 40), which reported from 1,828 primary ( N ) 3,245,768 participants, met inclusion criteria. findings pooled prevalence indicate that anxiety (16–41%, 30, 701), depression (14–37%, 28, 584), stress/post-traumatic stress disorder (18.6–56.5%, 24, 327) most prevailing pandemic-related conditions affecting workers. Other concerns included insomnia, burnout, fear, obsessive-compulsive disorder, somatization symptoms, phobia, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts. Considering regions/countries, highest United-Kingdom [22.3, 95% Confidence Interval (CI):7–38, 4] compared other countries, while Middle-East, (41, CI:16–60, 5) Eastern Mediterranean region (61.6, CI:56.4–66.8, 2) regions. significant risk factors include female gender, younger age, being nurse, frontline professional. most-reported coping strategies individual/group psychological support, family/relative training/orientation, adequacy personal protective equipment. Conclusion It concluded (nurses, doctors, allied health) have experienced various issues meta-review, therefore, recommends targeted interventions policies address specific support worldwide duration pandemic similar future crises. Hospital staff is at high risk of developing mental health issues during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. AMSTAR-2 applied quality assessment systematic reviews, while we GRADE rate evidence. Forty-four 1298 individual included final analysis, encompassing 16 symptoms. One-third workers anxiety (Prevalence: 29.9%, 95% CI:27.1% 32.7%) 28.4%, CI:25.5% 31.3%) symptomatology, about 40% (95% CI: 36.9% 42.0%) suffered sleeping disorders. Nurses experience high levels of job burnout and low satisfaction, while the COVID-19 pandemic has deteriorated working conditions. Nursing leadership is critical in facilitating and improving nurse performance, which essential for providing quality care ensuring patient safety. The aim of this study to explore the relationship between nursing performance by understanding behaviors factors that motivate nurses perform well.
