The worldwide spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has compelled researchers and practitioners to investigate implement alternative teaching methodologies due disruption caused conventional face-to-face instruction. This study examined efficacy integrating Blackboard platform classroom learning in a blended model for writing skills Saudi EFL university students via amalgamating advantages offered by both online platforms learning. adopted mixed-methods research design, incorporating qualitative as well quantitative methodologies. It employed survey methodology, utilizing questionnaire identify students' perceptions with respect use context In addition, interviews were conducted determine level acceptance willingness participate findings indicate that participants exhibited predominantly favorable attitude towards writing. Furthermore, they demonstrated an awareness interconnectedness between engaging positive perspectives receptiveness underscore its potential cultivate engagement, collaboration, enhanced outcomes empirical evidence obtained from this serves strong impetus educational institutions instructors utilize

The purpose of this study is to examine the transition patterns self-regulated learning (SRL) profiles among adolescents transitioning from middle school high and identify factors influencing transition. To achieve this, latent analysis random forest were conducted on a total 5,720 participants who participated in 5th (8th grade) 7th year (11th surveys "Korean Education Longitudinal Study 2013". main findings are as follows: First, SRL during classified into three levels based quantitative differences subdomains SRL: high-level SRL, medium-level low-level SRL. Engagement is essential for improving academic outcomes, especially in technology-enhanced learning (TEL) environments where self-regulated critical. This study investigated the longitudinal impacts of different levels engagement on undergraduate students' short-term and long-term outcomes TEL. Using a analytics management system (LMS) log data obtained from large university blended course, research (1) identified six key TEL variables, (2) clustered students into four distinct profiles based engagement, (3) tracked their summative assessment scores over term. Material access, formative quiz attempts, logins were significant predictors course performance. The results revealed that differences among student groups, initially minor, expanded term, finally significantly impacted final exam scores, with highly engaged undergraduates achieving better outcomes. findings highlight benefits fostering or success.

Abstract Motivation and self-regulated learning (SRL) are two interconnected constructs that critical for student learning, especially those in challenging fundamental Engineering courses such as Thermodynamics. Each of these integral to the process typically impact one another, fostering motivation can lead improved self-regulatory skills. SRL is described a cyclical where students plan, set goals, monitor reflect further plan strategies. These strategies require investigation they increasingly important integrate within classroom, STEM-based courses. By specifically SRL, engage more effectively with material, leading outcomes. To investigate components Engineering, we collected self-report measures achievement goal orientation (motivation), general self-efficacy motivated 146 undergraduate engineering better understand (1) nature (2) motivational profiles who might exist this conducted cluster analysis by grouping perceptions their use self-reported (motivation). Achievement 2x2 matrix having goals classroom (mastery/performance) valence (approach/avoidance), resulting four profiles. Mastery indicates desires learn material master content, often indicative deeper practices. Conversely, performance accomplishing task, which sometimes surface-level understanding material. The was Thermodynamics responded questionnaires Spring 2023 semester at university Southeastern United States. We identified 4 clusters emerged from our k-means analysis: High All Goals (n=34), Low (n=20), (3) Deep-Level (n=24), (4) Surface-Level (n=68). identifying different groups, possible archetypes classrooms based on self-perceptions motivation. then Kruskal-Wallis test determine if there were median differences between self-efficacy, another construct.
