Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) has become one of the most prevalent chronic diseases worldwide. The serum uric acid-to-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (UHR) been recognized as a novel marker for metabolic diseases, including MASLD. However, all previous studies were performed in adults. To explore relationship between UHR and MASLD Chinese children with obesity. A retrospective study was conducted 1284 obese hospitalized at Beijing Children's Hospital January 2016 December 2022. Logistic regression analysis restricted cubic splines to assess association odds receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve used estimate diagnostic value prevalence high, which reached 61.76% levels higher than those non-MASLD both genders. After dividing individuals into three groups according tertiles UHR, rate increased progressively from tertile 1 3 (34.11% vs. 70.56% 80.61%). showed that significantly associated risk, independent confounding factors such age, gender, body mass index (BMI), fasting blood glucose (FBG), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate (AST), gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), low-density (LDL-C), triglycerides (TG), creatinine (Cr). non-linear demonstrated approximately 300 900 suggested saturation effect risk. ROC indicated might serve predictive diagnosing children. In obesity, is useful predictor onset.

Abstract This study assessed the association between atherosclerosis indices, serum uric acid to high‐density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (UHR) and triglyceride‐glucose (TyG) index prevalence of hypertension among MASHAD cohort participants. In this cross‐sectional study, participants were divided into hypertensive non‐hypertensive subjects. The UHR TyG two groups compared. Logistic regression analyses used determine associations these indices with in both sex. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was establish cut‐off values for differentiating from p ‐values < .05 considered statistically significant. ABSTRACT Type 2 diabetes (T2D) and hypertension often coexist, insulin resistance (IR) plays an important role in their pathological progression. An increasing number of studies have focused on the relationship between different IR indices hypertension. A natural log transformation glucose disposal rate (log e GDR) has been proposed as a new model for sensitivity patients with T2D. The study aimed to explore GDR T2D patients. This cross‐sectional included 1544 Chinese Clinical biochemical characteristics were collected. was calculated based triglycerides, urinary albumin creatinine ratio, gamma‐glutamyl transferase, body mass index.
