Porphyromonas gingivalis (P. gingivalis) is a Gram-negative oral anaerobic bacterium that plays key role in the pathogenesis of periodontitis. P. expresses variety virulence factors disrupt innate and adaptive immunity, allowing to survive multiply host destroy periodontal tissue. In addition disease, P.gingivalis also associated with systemic diseases, which insulin resistance an important pathological basis. causes inflammatory response, disrupts signaling pathways, induces pancreatic β-cell hypofunction reduced numbers, decreased sensitivity leading (IR). this paper, we systematically review studies on mechanism induced by , discuss association between diseases based resistance, finally propose relevant therapeutic approaches. Overall, through systematic mechanisms related caused hope provide new insights for future basic research clinical interventions diseases.

Abstract: Substantial evidence has recently been gathered to substantiate the epidemiological correlation between this oral inflammatory ailment and several systemic health disorders, such as cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). It is worth noting that certain shared factors exist among individuals with periodontal disease (PD) CVDs, like obesity or overweight, minimal physical activities, smoking habits, male gender, low socioeconomic position, advanced age, limited educational attainment. Moreover, recent research suggests a distinct separate relationship PD CVDs. This literature review discusses association CVDs their underlying mechanisms connections. Current strongly confirms risk PD. The involve inflammation, epigenetics, epithelial dysfunction, microbiome dysbiosis, efficacy of periodontitis treatment. Future investigations are required comprehend these complex interactions develop targeted interventions for improvement reduction in risk. Periodontitis is highly prevalent worldwide. It characterized by periodontal attachment and alveolar bone destruction, which not only leads to tooth loss but also results in the exacerbation of systematic diseases. As such, periodontitis has a significant negative impact on daily lives patients. Detailed exploration molecular mechanisms underlying physiopathology may contribute development new therapeutic strategies for associated Pyroptosis, as one inflammatory programmed cell death pathways, implicated pathogenesis periodontitis. Progress field pyroptosis greatly enhanced our understanding its role This review first summarizes activation pathological progression Then, crosstalk between with apoptosis, necroptosis, NETosis discussed. Moreover, pyroptosis, novel link that connects systemic disease, reviewed. Finally, current challenges potential target are highlighted.

Stroke represents a significant global health burden, with substantial impact on mortality, morbidity, and long-term disability. The examination of stroke biomarkers, particularly the oral microbiome, offers promising avenue for advancing our understanding factors that contribute to risk developing strategies mitigate risk. This review highlights correlations between diseases, such as periodontitis caries, onset stroke. Periodontal pathogens within microbiome have been identified contributing factor in exacerbation stroke, including obesity, dyslipidemia, atherosclerosis, hypertension, endothelial dysfunction. alteration may these conditions, emphasizing vital role prevention cardiovascular disease. integration dental medical practices enhancing efforts improving patient outcomes.
