Abstract
As
a
consequence
of
rapid
industrialization
throughout
the
world,
various
environmental
pollutants
have
begun
to
accumulate
in
water,
air,
and
soil.
This
endangers
ecological
environment
earth,
remediation
has
become
an
immediate
priority.
Among
techniques,
piezocatalytic
which
uniquely
take
advantage
piezoelectric
effect,
attracted
much
attention.
Piezoelectric
effects
allow
pollutant
degradation
directly,
while
also
enhancing
photocatalysis
by
reducing
recombination
photogenerated
carriers.
In
this
Review,
we
provide
comprehensive
summary
recent
developments
techniques
for
remediation.
The
origin
effect
as
well
classification
materials
their
application
are
systematically
summarized.
We
analyze
potential
underlying
mechanisms.
Finally,
urgent
problems
future
development
discussed.

Abstract
Piezoelectric‐based
catalysis
that
relies
on
the
charge
energy
or
separation
efficiency
of
carriers
has
attracted
significant
attention.
The
piezo‐potential
induced
by
strain
stress
can
induce
a
giant
electric
field,
which
been
demonstrated
to
be
an
effective
means
for
shifting
transferring
electrons
and
holes.
In
recent
years,
intense
efforts
have
made
in
this
subject,
research
mainly
focussed
two
aspects:
i)
Alteration
surface
piezocatalysis;
ii)
photo‐generated
catalytic
activity
enhancement
integrated
piezoelectric
semiconductor
coupled
system
composed
piezoelectrics
semiconductors.
Systematically
summarizing
advances
above
aspects
is
helpful
context
deepening
understanding
relevant
issues
developing
new
ideas

Ferroelectric
materials
have
a
variety
of
technological
applications,
as
transducers,
capacitors,
sensors,
etc.
Great
interest
in
molecular
ferroelectrics
has
emerged
because
their
structural
flexibility,
tunability,
and
homochirality.
However,
the
discoveries
are
not
abundant.
The
lack
chemical
design
is
main
challenge
realizing
new
ferroelectrics.
Consequently,
approaches,
including
ideas
introducing
quasi-spherical
theory,
homochirality,
H/F
substitution,
been
developed
recently.
Through
these
advanced
methodologies,
wide
range
were
successfully
synthesized,
changing
blind
search
into
targeted
design.
In
this
Perspective,
we
aim
to
provide
insight
fundamental
chemistry

"ferroelectrochemistry",

with
performance
optimization
from

Ferro-,
piezo-,
and
pyroelectric
materials
are
emerging
as
potential
candidates
for
converting
various
forms
of
primary
energy
from
the

environment

Abstract
Mechanochemical
reactions

mechanical

approach
because

applications
towards
academic

industrial
chemical
communities

sustainable
solvent‐free/solvent‐less
processes.
Liquid‐assisted
(LAG)

solvent‐free
mechanochemical
techniques

amount

enhance
and/or
control
reactivity,

been
fruitfully
applied
