Background: The cardiovascular crisis is advancing rapidly throughout the world. A large number of studies have shown that plant polyphenols affect major mechanisms involved in events through their action on antioxidant system, signaling, and transcription pathways. D-limonene, a monocyclic monoterpene obtained from citrus fruits, reported to possess many pharmacological activities.Methods: experiment was designed determine protective effect D-limonene against cardiac injury induced by CCl4 Wistar rats. Rats were treated with two doses CCl4. Serum toxicity markers, biomarker enzymes, inflammatory mediators, anti-oxidant armory, lipid peroxidation, profile, histology done.Results: intoxication resulted substantial rise FFA, TC, TG, PL, LDL, VLDL, reduction HDL, restoring these changes administration at dosage 200 mg/kg. also oxidation decreased activity. Erchen decoction, a traditional Chinese medicine formula, can reduce the level of oxidative stress for treatment dyslipidemia phlegm-dampness retention syndrome (DPDRS); however, studies have not elucidated mechanism underlying its metabolic action. Here, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS)-based metabolomic techniques were utilized to characterize in vivo effects decoction achieving reduction levels and understand potential mechanisms action.We constructed DPDRS animal model using multifactorial composite modeling approach, was administered by gavage. The relationship between phthalates, a group of chemical pollutants classified as endocrine disruptors, and oxidative stress is not fully understood. aim the present hospital-based study was to explore associations circulating levels 10 phthalate metabolites 8 biomarkers in adipose tissue. population (n = 143) recruited two hospitals province Granada (Spain). Phthalate metabolite concentrations were analyzed by isotope diluted online-TurboFlow-LC–MS/MS serum samples, while markers measured commercially available kits tissue collected during routine surgery. Statistical analyses performed MM estimators' robust linear regression weighted quantile sum regression. Mainly, positive observed monomethyl (MMP), monoiso-butyl (MiBP), mono-n-butyl (MnBP) (all low molecular weight phthalates) with glutathione peroxidase (GPx) thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS), an inverse association found monoiso-nonyl (MiNP) (high phthalate) same biomarkers. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) contribute to endothelial dysfunction, platelet activation, and coagulation abnormalities, promoting thrombus formation. Given the growing interest in non-pharmacological approaches modulate oxidative stress, we examine potential of various dietary interventions antioxidant supplementation reducing damage preventing thrombotic events. Key patterns, such as Mediterranean, Dietary Approaches Stop Hypertension (DASH), ketogenic diets, well antioxidant-rich supplements like curcumin, selenium, polyphenols, demonstrate promising effects improving stress markers, lipid profiles, inflammatory responses. Background: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among older adults. Lifestyle modifications, including diet, physical activity, smoking cessation, are key to reducing cardiovascular risk. This study examines the combined effects these behaviors on outcomes their mediating mechanisms. Methods: A cross-sectional was conducted adults (aged ≥ 60 years) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Imbalanced dietary patterns, sedentary behavior, and other unhealthy lifestyle behaviors are among the potentially modifiable risk factors most consistently linked to all-cause cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality. This study aimed investigate joint association of antioxidant intakes from diet supplements behavior with CVD retrospective cohort included 16,019 adults National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2007–2014.
