Stress is a major problem among university students due to the circumstances from internal as well external such relationship problems, low self-confidence, and academic pressure. We administered self-report questionnaires acquired peripheral physiological signals observe effectiveness of brief mindfulness-based intervention (MI) in improving relaxation thus reducing stress. It was found that skin conductance (SC) showed significant change with p=0.0016 after MI unlike blood volume pulse (BVP) respiratory rate (RR), even though both were be slightly better than before during resting states Stroop Task. SC can potential indicator for helping student subjects cope stress improve their attention levels.

Our aim in this study was to test the effect of 10 sessions biofeedback (BFB) on physiological, psychological, and cognitive functioning international tennis players. In randomized controlled trial, we recruited 16 players (11 male, 5 female; M age = 17.31, SD 0.87 years), who were randomly assigned either an intervention group (IG; n 8) or a control (CG; 8). Those IG received multimodal BFB over four weeks, while those CG no intervention. We assessed parameters before after found positive for skin temperature, state anxiety, performance versus CG. provide preliminary data that improved functions reduced anxiety symptoms Future investigators should consider increasing sample size, incorporating active CG, studying these effects across diverse athletic disciplines.

Introduction This study conducts a bibliometric analysis on neurofeedback research to assess its current state and potential future developments. Methods It examined 3,626 journal articles from the Web of Science (WoS) using co-citation co-word methods. Results The identified three major clusters: “Real-Time fMRI Neurofeedback Self-Regulation Brain Activity,” “EEG Cognitive Performance Enhancement,” “Treatment ADHD Using Neurofeedback.” highlighted four key “Neurofeedback in Mental Health Research,” “Brain-Computer Interfaces for Stroke Rehabilitation,” Youth,” “Neural Mechanisms Emotion with Advanced Neuroimaging. Discussion in-depth significantly enhances our understanding dynamic field neurofeedback, indicating treating improving performance. offers non-invasive, ethical alternatives conventional psychopharmacology aligns trend toward personalized medicine, suggesting specialized solutions mental health rehabilitation as growing focus medical practice.

Despite the evidence for effectiveness of neurofeedback (NFB) treatment, standardization is scarce, impairing comparability across studies and conditions. Therefore, acceptance, satisfaction feasibility a standardized NFB manual with 14 sessions focused on sensory motor rhythm (SMR) reward theta high-beta reduction were evaluated. Methodology: This monocentric, prospective, interventional pilot study in an outpatient setting followed mixed methods approach. Quantitative data collected from patients through questionnaires. Qualitative derived interviews practitioners (NPs) analyzed using Mayring’s method content analysis. Results: The analysis included 24 patients. mean patient (ZUF-8) was 20.81, reflecting moderate satisfaction. average perceived system usability 73.48, representing good acceptance. majority (95.7%) treatment to be feasible; 78.3% found it useful would recommend it. reoccurring technical difficulties, NPs provide security confidence during sessions. clear instructions could partially compensate heterogeneity expertise among NPs. Suggested improvements intensified training aspects improved education. Conclusions: developed promising tool delivering psychosomatic settings. It facilitates establishment standards, enhances quality assurance ensures treatments.

Transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) and neurofeedback (NFB) are two different types of non-invasive neuromodulation techniques, which can modulate brain activity improve functioning. In this review, we compared the state knowledge related to mechanisms tACS NFB their effects on electroencephalogram (EEG) (online period/stimulation period) aftereffects (offline period/post/stimulation period), including duration persistence potential behavioral benefits. Since alpha bandwidth has been broadly studied in research, studies modulating were selected for comparing online offline these techniques. The factors responsible variability responsiveness modulated EEG by analyzed too. Based literature NFB, it be concluded that differ a lot an but they possibly share common universal induction targeted stimulated band, namely Hebbian homeostatic plasticity. Many both techniques report connected is comparable. relation influencing significantly more studies. Several have already investigated. outcomes, propose several new research directions regarding NFB.
