Background: With the resumption of physical learning activities across Nigeria's higher education institutions, tertiary-level students, a priority group in deployment COVID-19 vaccines according to WHO SAGE, face circumstances that necessitate widespread vaccination coverage among them. This study aimed assess Nigerian undergraduate students' knowledge, coverage, and barriers vaccination. Method: A cross-sectional survey undergraduates was conducted October 2021, using an online questionnaire combined simple random snowballing sampling technique. The included sections on respondents' demographic characteristics, vaccine awareness, barriers, recommendations. total 326 respondents electronically completed returned informed consent form along with questionnaire. data obtained were analyzed statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) version 25. Results: overall awareness sampled students high; 62.3%, 20.9%, 16.9% having good, average, poor levels knowledge respectively. However, majority (81.3%) had not received vaccines. most prominent barrier misinformation about safety (23.6%). Opening centers campuses (18.6%), demonstrating effectiveness (18.7%), organizing campaigns (17.2%) frequently recommended actions. Conclusion: Most aware availability potential benefits vaccines; however, remained extremely low. Our findings emphasize importance addressing by public health stakeholders achieve optimal coverage.

Vaccine hesitancy plays a crucial role in worldwide pandemic-control efforts. The multifaceted nature of vaccine entails many psychological factors that are widely discussed the literature, although few studies specifically compile these factors. Thus, this systematic review aims to synthesize contributing hesitancy. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has had devastating impacts on the global economy and public health. This study aimed to assess level of COVID-19 vaccine acceptance, hesitancy, associated factors among staff students Federal University Health Sciences Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria. A web-based cross-sectional survey was conducted between November 2021 April 2022, data were collected analyzed using descriptive inferential statistics. Of 150 completed questionnaires, majority respondents (80.0%) 16 45 years old. The found that 58.4% participants indicated with skepticism about vaccine's fast production/rollout fear side effects being most common reasons for hesitation. Abstract Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a global public health problem that has had detrimental influence on the economy of countries world, including Nigeria: (1) Background: The study aimed to assess COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and hesitancy among staff students at Federal University Health Sciences Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria, while exploring factors influencing these attitudes; (2) Methods: A web-based cross-sectional survey was conducted between November 2021 April 2022, with data analyzed using descriptive inferential statistics; (3) Results: Of hundred fifty (150) completed analysed questionnaires mean age respondents 34.8 ± 8.64 years, which majority them 80.0% (122) ranging 16 45 years. 77.3% (116) have been tested for virus know their status.
