Vibration induced damage to the peripheral circulatory system is thought be an early stage of hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) caused by occupational exposure hand-transmitted (HTV). This study investigated mechanisms underlying vibration-induced vascular injury, focusing on role Piezo1, a mechanosensitive channel, and its association with NF-κB/p65 signaling pathway. We demonstrated that leads Piezo1-mediated upregulation angiogenic chemokines, including CCL2, CCL5, CXCL1, CXCL2, CXCL10, through To mimic effects vibration, rat model cellular were used. Animal models showed dysfunction while increasing Piezo1 expression. knockdown or p65 inhibition attenuated these effects, suggesting crucial for Piezo1-NF-κB/p65 axis in dysfunction. Furthermore, chemokines identified as potential biomarkers diagnosis HAVS occupationally exposed individuals. These results highlight pathway therapeutic targets underscore need further validation human samples exploration additional involved injury. triggers via pathway, leading syndrome.

Atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory disease that causes degenerative and productive changes in the arteries. The resulting atherosclerotic plaques restrict vessel lumen, causing blood flow disturbances. Plaques are formed mainly large- medium-sized arteries, usually at bends forks where there turbulence flow. Depending on their location, they can lead to various states such as myocardial infarction, stroke, renal failure, peripheral vascular diseases, or sudden cardiac death. In this work, we reviewed literature early detection of atherosclerosis markers application photodynamic therapy atherosclerosis-related diseases. Herein, described roles C-reactive protein, insulin, osteopontin, osteoprotegerin, copeptin, TGF-β cytokine family, amino acid homocysteine. Also, discuss role microelements iron, copper, zinc, Vitamin D promoting formation plaque. Dysregulation administered compounds associated with an increased risk atherosclerosis. Additionally, taking into account pathophysiology plaque formation, believe maintaining homeostasis range biomarkers mentioned article crucial for slowing down process development stability already formed.

Cancer and cardiovascular disease remain the leading causes of morbidity mortality worldwide, two separate entities share several similarities possible interactions. Patients with cancer may have underlying disease, which is often exacerbated by stress tumor growth or treatment. At same time, cardiotoxicity induced anti-cancer therapies malignant process itself can lead to new diseases. Efforts been made find a rational explanation for this phenomenon. As classical tumor-promoting factor, we notice that SNAI2 simultaneously plays an important pathogenic role in Moreover, there are striking parallels mechanisms CVD, such as shared risk factors (e.g., smoking diabetes), cellular phenotypic switching, metabolic remodeling, all mediated SNAI2. This review aims summarize SNAI2's core linking well explore therapeutic approaches targeting also seeks provide insights into common both CVD.

ABSTRACT Arterial diseases affect the mechanical properties of blood vessels, which then alter their function via complex mechanisms. To develop and test effective treatments, microphysiological systems replicating mechanics a human artery are needed. Here, we establish an artery-on-chip (ARTOC) using vascular derivatives induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) cultured with pulsatile flow on electrospun fibrin hydrogel. ARTOCs have mature, laminated smooth muscle that expresses robust extracellular matrix contractile proteins, contracts in response to intraluminal pressure vasoagonists, exhibits tissue comparable those small-diameter arteries. Cardio-oncology is an emerging interdisciplinary field concerned with cancer treatment-related cardiovascular toxicities (CTR-CVT) and concomitant diseases (CVD) in patients cancer. Inflammation immune system dysregulation are common features of tumors disease (CVD). In addition to the mutual exacerbating effect through inflammation, tumor treatments, including immunotherapy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted may induce inflammatory reactions leading damage. Cancer immunotherapy currently a new method treatment. Immunotherapeutic agents, such as checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T), mRNA vaccines, etc., can anti-tumor effects by enhancing host response eliminate cells. They have achieved remarkable therapeutic efficacy clinical settings but lead many immune-related adverse events (irAEs), especially CTR-CVT. Establishing specific evaluation, diagnostic, monitoring criteria (e.g., biomarkers) for both anti-inflammatory therapy-related toxicity vital guide practice. This article explores role inflammation cardiology, unravels underlying mechanisms, provides improved methods treating CTR-CVT cardio-oncology.
