Dry
eye
disease
(DED)
is
a
common
chronic
ocular
disease.
DED
can
have
significant
impact
on
visual
function,
causing
disturbances
to
comfort,
daily
activities,
and
general
quality
of
life.
The
varied
nature
makes
it
difficult

Ocular
injuries

the

impairment.

bioadhesives
with
superior
adhesion,
biocompatibility,
regenerative
properties.

a
novel
high‐transparent
bioadhesive
hydrogel
composed
gelatin
methacryloyl
(GelMA)
dopamine
methacrylamide
(DMA)
developed
by
in
situ
oxidative
free‐radical
polymerization.

fundamental
weakness

adhesive
copolymers
