Processes and Manifestations of Digital Resilience: Video and Textual Insights From Sexual and Gender Minority Youth

Minority stressors harm sexual and gender minority youth (SGMY). This may be mitigated by promotive protective factors processes that manifest resilient coping. SGMY increasingly interact with information communication technologies (ICTs) to meet psychological needs, yet research often problematizes youths' ICT use, inhibiting understanding about ICTs' potential resilience-enhancing utilities. study analyzes text video responses of 609 aged 14 29 residing in Canada or the United States an open-ended survey question benefits using ICTs. Constructivist grounded theory integrating multimodal coding was used analyze data, producing a framework digital resilience-digital actions generate positive growth-with four themes: Regulating Emotions Curating Microsystems; Learning Integrating; Advocating Leading; Cultivating Relationships Communities Care. Towards an integrative self: a digital photo elicitation study of resilience among key marginalized populations of sexual and gender minority youth

Sexual and gender minority youth (SGMY) experience unique challenges related to identity disclosure, cope in vibrant ways. Qualitative research has not yet fulsomely explored the risk, resilience, intersections that impact vulnerable SGMY wellbeing. Methods: This digital photo-elicitation study (QueerView) recruited thirty (aged 14-29) from priority populations had one or more of following experiences: trans diverse, homelessness, child welfare, immigration. From submission fifteen photos representing resilience a semi-structured interview via web conferencing, constructivist grounded theory was utilized for multimodal analysis photos, video, transcript. Triangulation, an audit trail, member checking were employed support trustworthiness. Results: A visual model emerged showing how participants work towards integrative self, with themes reflecting knowing, discrimination intersectional challenges, connecting, performing, curating, coping, (re)defining (re)creating, growing being. Assessing the Fidelity of an Affirmative Cognitive Behavioral Group Intervention

Support implementation fidelity in intervention research with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and sexual gender diverse (LGBTQ+) populations, this study explores the systematic development of a process for AFFIRM, an evidence-based, affirmative cognitive behavioral therapy group LGBTQ+ youth adults.As part clinical trial, AFFIRM checklist was designed to assess clinician adherence. A total 151 audio-recorded sessions were coded by four trained raters.Adherence high mean score 84.13 (SD = 12.50). Inter-rater reliability 81%, suggesting substantial agreement. Qualitative thematic analysis low-rated identified deviations from manual difficulties facilitation, while high-rated specified effective responses.Findings integrated into training coaching. China's Internet sector reforms and the rise of ESG in the state techno‐nationalist agenda

Abstract From 2020 onward, sweeping reforms were implemented in China's domestic Internet sector that stirred debate about its future. Analyzing all Chinese government policies and penalties issued on enterprises from to 2022, this article provides the first systematic account of authoritative themes guided design policy reforms. Latent Dirichlet Association topic modeling qualitative content analyses reveal are by a state techno‐nationalist agenda shifting closer framework environmental, social, governance concerns (ESG). The results show new restructured firm operations, capital allocation decisions, accountability mechanisms with local collaborators ultimately push firms toward improving ESG adherence: social wellbeing, corporate governance, environmental sustainability.
