Abstract
In
the
background

limited
studies
on
noncoding
RNAs
in
Drosophila
oogenesis,
we
show
developmentally
active
hsr
ω
lncRNA
gene
to
be
essential
oogenesis
and
ovulation.

Abstract
Studies
of
allele-specific
expression
in
interspecific
hybrids
have
provided
important
insights
into
gene-regulatory
divergence
and
hybrid
incompatibilities.
Many

gonads,

regulatory

vary
widely
among
species,
sexes,

broad
sampling

confident
about

(PCSS)
driven

competition

conflict,

PCSS

under-explored.

we
generated
RNAseq
libraries
quantified
testis,

vesicle,
epididymis,

wild-caught

californicus

boylii
maniculatus
males
tested
for
positive
relaxed
Peromyscus-expressed
genes
using
published
rodent
genomes.

identified
3,627
mating-system
associated
differentially
expressed
(MS-DEGs),

direction
