Background Mobile health (mHealth) is increasingly being used in contemporary care provision owing to its portability, accessibility, ability facilitate communication, improved interprofessional collaboration, and benefits for outcomes. However, there limited discourse on patient safety real-world mHealth implementation, especially as settings extend beyond traditional center-based technology usage home-based care. Objective This study aimed explore professionals’ perspectives the aspects of integration service provision, focusing Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) Wuhan city mainland China. In SAR, largely managed by Hospital Authority, which has released various mobile apps care, such Stoma Care, Hip Fracture, HA Go. contrast, institutionally directed, with individual hospitals or departments using consultation apps, WeChat mini-programs, Official Accounts Platform (a subapp within ecosystem). Methods A multicenter qualitative design was used. total 27 participants, including 22 nurses 5 physicians, from 2 different systems were interviewed individually. Thematic analysis analyze data. Results The mean age participants 32.19 (SD 3.74) years, working experience 8.04 4.05) years. Most female (20/27, 74%). Nearly half had a bachelor’s degree (13/27, 48%), some master’s (9/27, 33%), few diploma (3/27, 11%) doctoral (2/27, 7%). Four themes emerged data analysis. Considering current uncertainties surrounding emphasized “liability” concerns when discussing safety. Abstract Digital health technologies are ubiquitous in the healthcare landscape. Older adults represent an important user group who may benefit from improved monitoring of physical and cognitive in-home access to care, but there remain many barriers widespread use digital gerontology geriatric medicine. The National Institute on Aging Research Centers Collaborative Network convened a workshop wherein geriatricians gerontological researchers with expertise related mHealth applications shared opportunities challenges application aging. Discussion broadly centered 2 themes: promises (i) ecological momentary assessment methodologies medicine, (ii) development promotion programs delivered via technologies. Herein, we summarize this discussion outline several promising areas for future research.

Relationships, built on trust, knowledge, regard, and loyalty, have been demonstrated to be fundamental health care delivery. Strong relationships between patients providers linked more compassionate delivery, better patient experience outcomes, may particularly important in primary care. The rapid adoption of digital technologies since the onset COVID-19 has led systems seriously consider a "digital-first" delivery model. Questions remain regarding what impact this transformation will therapeutic relationship. Using ethnographic approach study explores how provider understandings influence relationship-building or maintenance with complex needs their providers. Three team-based sites Toronto, Ontario, Canada were included study. Across three 9 chronic conditions, 1 caregiver, 10 healthcare (including family physicians, medicine residents, social workers, nurse practitioners) participated. Interviews conducted all participants 8 observations virtual clinical encounters (phone video visits) conducted. representation theory as lens, analysis revealed that participants' constructions informed by identities, experiences, expectations. This study provides comprehensive overview of implementation research in Australia, employing scientometric analysis visualization. We assess the existing knowledge base, identify key areas frontier trends, explore their implications delivery rural remote settings. Methods A systematic search Web Science Core Collection database was conducted relevant documents up December 31, 2023. Analysis annual growth patterns, journals, institutional authorship contributions, reference co-citation keyword co-occurrence using scientometrics create outputs form graphs tables. Evolutionary analyses were undertaken delineate current predominant themes, trends field. Results total 196 related identified, demonstrating sustained since 2019. The evolution field characterized by four distinct phases, with pronounced focus on telehealth, particularly context COVID-19 pandemic. ‘Remote health’ emerged as significant area contemporary interest. Conclusions contributes our understanding Australia. Despite considerable body research, there remains relative paucity studies focused underserved which arguably stand benefit most from advancements. Introduction: Language barriers within clinical settings pose a threat to patient safety. As potential impediment understanding, they hinder the process of obtaining informed consent. This study investigates impact current use interpreters, with particular focus on efficacy engaging laypersons as rather than professional interpreters. A further objective is explore validity and reliability phone-based telemedicine. Methods: In three groups (N per group = 30), we compared how using lay or interpreters affected non-German speaking patients’ subjectively perceived understanding (understood vs. not understood) recollection (recollected recollected) information about general anaesthesia. Fluent German patients served control group. Statistical analyses (χ2 tests binomial) were calculated show differences between groups. Results: All indicated similar, high self-reported levels having understood medical provided. was in stark contrast assessed data. interpreter group, anaesthesia facts low; only around half participants recalled specific facts.
