Reminiscence

Oman's
sizable
geriatric
population,
research
on
individuals'
experiences
is
scarce.
Therefore,
this
study
aimed
to
explore
the
Omani
individuals
across
many
stages,
childhood
present.This
was
qualitative
design.
Convenience
sampling
employed
conducted
December
2021
October
2022.
A
total
13

females

males),
with
an
average
age
68
years,
were
recruited
for
(response
rate
=
34%).
Socio-demographic

according
set
semi-structured
guiding
questions.
The
responses
then
captured
audio
recordings,
which
underwent
transcription
translation.
Thematic
analysis
techniques
applied
extracted
data.Three
main
themes
evident
in
study's
findings:
memories,
friendships,
relationships,
well
past.
Additionally,
passed
gems
wisdom
be
shared
younger
generations.This
aided
revealing
resiliency,
social
connections,
reflections
adults.
These
can
guide
creation
age-inclusive
laws,
support
initiatives,
healthcare
services
specifically
designed
satisfy
special
requirements
ambitions
elderly
population.

recommended

community

BSTRACT
Background

Objectives:
Group
reminiscence
therapy
has
shown
potential
in
improving
the
mental
well-being
of

adults.

Background

Abstract
Dementia
is
characterized
by
a
progressive
decline
in
cognition,
behavioral
and
psychological
symptoms
(BPSD),

life
(QoL).
The

therapies
