Cultural adaptation of psychometric measures has become a process aimed at increasing acceptance, reliability, and validity among specific Indigenous populations. Background Resilience is a process of drawing on internal or external strengths to regain, sustain improve adaptive outcomes despite adversity. Using child resilience measure co-designed with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, we investigate: 1) children’s personal, family, school community strengths; 2) gender differences; 3) associations between wellbeing. Methods 1132 parent/caregivers children aged 5–12 years were recruited the Childhood Study, including through Families Study. The Study population-based cohort 344 mothers an and/or child.
