The prevalence of age-related degenerative joint diseases, particularly intervertebral disc degeneration and osteoarthritis, is increasing, thereby posing significant challenges for the elderly population. Allergic rhinitis (AR) is an immunoglobulin E (IgE)-mediated inflammatory disorder of the nasal mucosa, and impact ozone on AR gaining increasing attention. Although NOD-like receptor thermal protein domain associated 3 (NLRP3) plays a crucial role in pathogenesis AR, its regulatory mechanisms ozone-induced exacerbation remain unclear. Therefore, we explored inhalation inflammation investigated involving NLRP3.Fifty female Sprague-Dawley rats were selected divided into five groups: normal control (NC), with exposure (NE), model, (ARE), ARE treated NLRP3 inhibitor MCC950 (ARE+MCC950).
