Background:

Abstract
This
study
examines
the
delivery
components
of
inclusive
mental
health
services
in
higher
education,
centering
on
international
university
students.
Through
interviews
with
32
participants
at
a
state
United
States,
including
students,
counseling
staff,
and
faculty,
six
key
themes
emerged:
professionals’
multicultural
self-awareness,
focus
reparative
services,
mainstream
theories
approaches,
cultural
background,
faculty
involvement
physical
space
confidentiality.
These
findings
underscore
importance
training
for
professionals,
expansive
offerings,
incorporation
diverse
confidentiality,
active
participation
suitable
environments.
By
addressing
these
components,
universities
can
enhance
quality
support
student
populations,
promoting
their
overall
well-being

Introduction
Medical
students
experience
high
levels
of
stress,
often
due
to
academic
demands,
which
can
adversely
affect
their
mental
health.
However,
they
frequently
hesitate
seek
and
underutilise
available
health
services.
This
study
aimed
assess
the
perceived
need
for
services

barriers

among
undergraduate
medical
students.

efforts

address

severity

mental
health
issues,

decades
