Abstract In order to realize the effective utilization of overproduced Fructus Mori . this study, different fermentation strains ( Yeast, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Monascus ) were used as starters ferment The results showed that maximum polysaccharides yield could reach 6.32% under optimal conditions (liquid-solid ratio 28.58 mL/g, inoculum volume 4.93, temperature 302.99 K time 83.78 h). antioxidant studies, had good scavenging ability on four free radicals (DPPH radicals, ·OH ABTS superoxide anions). Moreover, polysaccharide strong antibacterial activity against 6 tested pathogens, effect was Staphylococcus aureus (36.5±1.26 mm)> Bacillus subtilis (33.5±1.12 Listeria monocytogenes (29.5±1.03 Escherichia coli (25.9±1.35 Salmonella (21.5±1.06 Vibrio parahaemolyticus (15.8±1.16 mm) with concentration 40 mg/mL. research can provide a certain application value for functional development polysaccharides.

Abstract Fibrosis occurs in many organs, and its sustained progress can lead to organ destruction malfunction. Although numerous studies on fibrosis have been carried out, underlying mechanism is largely unknown, no ideal treatment currently available. Ferroptosis an iron-dependent process of programmed cell death that characterized by lipid peroxidation. In the past decade, a growing body evidence demonstrated association between ferroptosis fibrotic diseases, while targeting may serve as potential therapeutic strategy. Abstract Introduction Liuweizhiji Gegen‐Sangshen (LGS) oral liquid is a Chinese patent medicine that widely used for the prevention and treatment of alcoholic liver disease in clinical practice. However, chemical complexity LGS has not yet been investigated. Objective The aim this study was to rapidly identify constituents establish quality control method based on fingerprint quantitative analysis. Methodology A comprehensive strategy by combining qualitative analysis ultra‐performance chromatography tandem quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry (UPLC‐Q‐TOF‐MS) high‐performance with diode array detection (HPLC‐DAD). Results total 162 components LGS, including 91 flavonoids, 31 organic acids, 20 phenolic compounds, were identified or preliminarily characterized both positive negative ion modes UPLC‐Q‐TOF‐MS results. Of these, 37 confirmed reference standards. In analysis, 23 peaks chosen as common evaluate similarity different batches LGS.
