Centella asiatica, a traditional medicinal plant, possesses potent antioxidant activity and may therefore prevent cellular aging exert antiapoptotic effects. However, these effects remain to be fully elucidated. This study aimed investigate the protective of C. asiatica extract against senescence apoptosis caused by hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-induced oxidative stress in human epidermal keratinocytes (HaCaT cells). To evaluate H2O2 on HaCaT cells, we measured cell viability as marker death; reactive oxygen species (ROS), radical scavenging, superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GPx), catalase activities markers stress; senescence-associated β-galactosidase (SA-β-gal) senescence; caspase-3/9 apoptotic cells apoptosis. induced death (decreased viability), (increased ROS activity, decreased SOD, GPx, activities), SA-β-gal activity), early/late increased activities). significantly all H2O2-induced death, stress, senescence, apoptosis, suggesting its ability through activity. mechanism action contribute prevention improvement skin aging.

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are multipotent derived from adult cells. Primary MSCs can be obtained diverse sources, including bone marrow, adipose tissue, and umbilical cord blood. Recently, have been recognized as therapeutic agents for skin regeneration rejuvenation. The damaged by wounds, caused cutting or breaking of the burns. Moreover, aging is a process that occurs naturally but worsened environmental pollution, exposure to ultraviolet radiation, alcohol consumption, tobacco use, undernourishment. healing capacities applied in aged skin. In regeneration, increase cell proliferation neovascularization, decrease inflammation injury lesions. rejuvenation, lead production collagen elastic fibers, inhibition metalloproteinase activation, promote protection radiation-induced senescence. this review, we focus on how MSC-derived molecules improve diseased Additionally, emphasize induced pluripotent (iPSC)-derived potentially advanced MSCs, which suitable therapy.

Abstract Skin aging is characterized by changes in its structural, cellular, and molecular components both the epidermis dermis. Dermal distinguished reduced dermal thickness, increased wrinkles, a sagging appearance. Due to intrinsic or extrinsic factors, accumulation of excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) triggers series events, including imbalanced extracellular matrix (ECM) homeostasis, senescent fibroblasts, loss cell identity, chronic inflammation mediated senescence‐associated secretory phenotype (SASP). These events are regulated signaling pathways, such as nuclear factor erythroid 2‐related 2 (Nrf2), mechanistic target rapamycin (mTOR), transforming growth beta (TGF‐β), insulin‐like 1 (IGF‐1). Senescent fibroblasts can induce accelerate age‐related dysfunction other skin cells may even cause systemic inflammation. In this review, we summarize role cutaneous Moreover, underlying mechanisms which influence also discussed.

Skin is the largest organ of body with important protective functions, which become compromised time due to both intrinsic and extrinsic ageing processes. Cellular senescence primary process at cell level, associated loss proliferative capacity, mitochondrial dysfunction significantly altered patterns expression secretion bioactive molecules. Intervention experiments have proven as a relevant cause in many organs. In case skin, accumulation all major compartments well documented might be responsible for most, if not all, molecular changes observed during ageing. Incorporation senescent cells into in-vitro skin models (specifically 3D full thickness models) recapitulates typically However, crucial evidence still missing. A beneficial effect ablation on has so far only been shown following rather unspecific interventions or transgenic mouse models. We conclude that cellular highly suggestive but yet completely conclusive.
