Grape
pomace,
also
known
as
wine
is
a
by-product
of
winemaking
that
has
traditionally
been
discarded.
However,
recent
studies
have
highlighted
its
rich
nutritional
and
bioactive
potential,
positioning
it
promising
resource
for
various
applications
in
the
functional
food,
pharmaceutical,
cosmetic
sectors.
This
review
explores
nutrient
nutraceutical
contents
grape
including
high
levels
polyphenols,
dietary
fiber,
vitamins,
minerals,
melatonin.
The
biological
activities
such
antioxidant,
anti-inflammatory,
antimicrobial,
anticancer
effects,
are
discussed,
emphasizing
potential
raw
material
endowed
with
multifunctional
properties.
Additionally,
valorization
pomace
food
supplement
development
cosmetics
examined,
focusing
on
incorporation
into
products
skincare
formulations.

Exploring the Phytochemical Composition and the Bioactive Properties of Malbec and Torrontés Wine Pomace from the Calchaquíes Valleys (Argentina) for their Sustainable Exploitation

Exploiting

grapes
white
Chardonnay,
Fiano
Malvasia
bianca
grapes),
additional
generalizing
use
organisms
selected
wide
plant
biodiversity.
Three
binary
choline
chloride-based
(DES-Lac,
DES-Tar,
DES-Gly,
lactic
acid,
tartaric
glycerol
hydrogen
bond
donors,
respectively)
were
compared
ethanol
conventional
solvent,
extracts
evaluated
using
HPLC/MS
colorimetric
techniques.
The
results
revealed
each
produces
substantially
higher
total
yield
than
(up
127.8
mg/g
DW
pomace).
