Sarcopenia is a chronic degenerative disease affecting primarily older adults. A growing aging population gradually increasing the number of patients suffering from sarcopenia, placing financial pressure on patients’ families and society in general. There strong link between mitochondrial dysfunction sarcopenia pathogenesis. As result, treating by improving an effective strategy. Numerous studies have demonstrated that exercise has positive effect when sarcopenia. Exercise promotes biogenesis fusion/division to add new mitochondria or improve dysfunctional while maintaining calcium homeostasis, antioxidant defense system, autophagy promote normal function. Furthermore, can reduce damage caused inhibiting oxidative stress, DNA damage, apoptosis. effectiveness depends several factors, including duration, intensity, form. Therefore, Moderate-intensity over 4 weeks potentially mitigates adults ameliorating dysfunction. HIIT potential as viable approach addressing aged rats. Women with breast cancer and improved survival often experience treatment-related impairments. High-intensity interval training (HIIT) has emerged as a promising exercise therapy modality for adult patients. However, the overall effects of HIIT in patients remain scarce controversial. Therefore, we conducted systematic review meta-analysis to comprehensively evaluate impact on health-related outcomes patients. We searched PubMed, Embase, Web Science from inception November 7, 2022. Eligible studies included randomized controlled trials that compared interventions usual care (UC) or MICT The primary outcome assessed was physical fitness, exploratory body composition, blood-borne biomarkers, patient-reported outcomes. Summary data were extracted, standardized mean differences (SMD) calculated meta-analysis. For could not be pooled, conducted. Our analysis 19 articles 10 studies, encompassing 532 participants who met inclusion criteria. Pooled results demonstrated superior UC improving peak oxygen uptake (VO2peak ). SMD VO2peak (L/min) (mL/kg/min) 0.79 (95% CI 0.13, 1.45) 0.59 0.01, 1.16), respectively. No significant found between groups. Meta-analyses composition biomarkers showed no UC. Systematic indicated favorable muscle strength, fatigue, emotional well-being.HIIT is time-efficient alternative may also enhance strength alleviate fatigue symptoms should considered an important component prescription care.
