Abstract Background The aim of this study was to compare the oral health findings and salivary parameters children with different stages chronic kidney disease (CKD) those healthy peers. Methods Intraoral examinations were performed on 43 aged 8–17 years CKD 40 controls from same pediatric nephrology clinic. Heat stress (HS) exerts detrimental effects on animal production, with lactating sows being particularly vulnerable. Understanding the mechanisms involved in HS response could aid developing effective strategies against negative impacts livestock. Recent genome wide association studies identified two core circadian clock genes as potential candidates mediating response. The study aimed to investigate how cooling under natural heat conditions impacted patterns of respiration rate (RR), rectal temperature (RT), behavior, salivary melatonin and cortisol levels, diurnal cytokines saliva. Abstract Alpha‐amylase is one of the most important enzymes in saliva. It an biomarker for many health conditions. Saliva sampling a non‐invasive method and preferred choice at point care home testing. Measurement salivary alpha‐amylase activity as rapid test using strips with Flavin‐dependent glucose dehydrogenases (FAD‐GDH) aim current research. FAD‐GDH oxygen‐independent enzyme has narrow substrate specificity. For this goal, starches from various sources are tested chose MS‐101 starch best substrate, between six different types. Under optimal assay conditions, when hydrolyzed (in 20 min, 37 °C, pH = 7) reacts that exist 5 s glucometer can show amount produced samples patient samples. Background:Ischemia-modified albumin (IMA) is a secreted biomarker for ischemic oxidative stress.This case-control study aimed to evaluate the association of ischemia-modified in saliva, serum, and urine with diagnosis chronic kidney disease (CKD) 24 children. Material/Methods:The involved children CKD.CKD was defined according Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) diagnostic criteria.The control group consisted healthy who were matched age gender experimental group.The concentration IMA determined by colorimetric method non-stimulated whole saliva (NWS), stimulated (SWS), CKD.The Mann-Whitney U test used inter-group comparisons. Results:IMA levels significantly higher NWS (P=0.0082) SWS (P=0.0014) CKD than correlated standard indicators function, including estimated glomerular filtration rate (r=-0.798,P£0.0001), stage (r=0.814,P£0.0001), serum creatinine (r=0.711,P£0.0001) urea (r=0.738,P£0.0001). Conclusions:Salivary depends on renal function children.Salivary discriminates endstage from mild moderate high sensitivity specificity.Further research required, assessment usefulness validation clinical study.

Dentofacial inflammation resulting from untreated dental caries is a serious disease that can spread to deeper tissues of the neck and face. This study aimed analyze salivary cytokine profiles as potential biomarkers acute odontogenic infections in children. Abstract Heat stress (HS) poses a significant challenge to the United States swine industry. Sows and their piglets are particularly vulnerable HS, as periparturient phase is characterized by heightened metabolism increased oxidative inflammation.
