RESULTS: included 126 050 mean age 78 (SD, 8); 54% were female 82% White. Within days, 6127 (4.9%) initiated benzodiazepine. Among new lorazepam (40%) alprazolam (33%) most prescribed. Most (76%) day’s supply over 7 55% between 15 30 days. Female initiation rates higher (5.5% [95% CI, 5.3–5.7]) than male (3.8% 3.6%–3.9%]). Rates highest southeast (5.1% 4.8%–5.3%]) lowest midwest (4.0% 3.8%–4.3%]), modest nationwide decline 2013 2021 (cumulative incidence difference, 1.6%). Abstract Background The number of individuals recovering from severe COVID-19 is increasing rapidly. However, little known about physical behaviours that make up the 24-h cycle within these individuals. This study aimed to describe following hospital admission for at eight months post-discharge including associations with acute illness severity and ongoing symptoms. Methods One thousand seventy-seven patients discharged between March November 2020 were recruited. Using a 14-day wear protocol, wrist-worn accelerometers sent participants after five-month follow-up assessment. Acute was assessed by WHO clinical progression scale, symptoms using four previously reported data-driven recovery clusters. Two existing control populations office workers type 2 diabetes comparators. Results Valid accelerometer data 253 women 462 men included. Women engaged in mean ± SD 14.9 14.7 min/day moderate-to-vigorous activity (MVPA), 12.1 1.7 h/day spent inactive 7.2 1.1 asleep. values 21.0 22.3 12.6 h /day 6.9 h/day, respectively. Over 60% did not have any days containing 30-min bout MVPA. Variability sleep timing approximately women. More associated lower total MVPA recovery. very cluster fewer days/week continuous bouts MVPA, longer time, higher variability timing. Patients post-hospitalisation had levels activity, greater variability, efficiency than similarly aged cohort or those diabetes. Conclusions Those low disrupted patterns several discharge. Our comparative cohorts indicate long-term impact on significant.

Three contemporaneous symptom networks two cross-lagged panel constructed. current sample, prevalence clinically significant was 6.1%, 8.9%, 7.7% during first, second, third waves, respectively. The 8.1%, 13.0%, 14.1%. Over time, severity network density increased, persisting least one year after pandemic measures ended. "Difficulty initiating sleep" bridged disorders, while "anhedonia" played pivotal role in triggering sustaining other underscores lasting impact evolving on elucidating underlying interaction mechanisms.
