Promoting Dental Health Through Teledentistry: Assessing Awareness and Attitudes in Saudi Arabia

Introduction Teledentistry has emerged as a promising solution to enhance dental healthcare accessibility and quality. Understanding public awareness attitudes toward teledentistry is crucial for its successful implementation, especially in regions like Saudi Arabia where digital health initiatives are rapidly expanding. This study aims assess the level of awareness, attitudes, perceptions among Arabian population, well examine demographic factors influencing acceptance. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 474 participants, employing structured questionnaire collect data on demographics, knowledge, perceptions, teledentistry. Statistical analyses, including correlation chi-square tests, were performed analyze data. Results The majority respondents (64%) reported teledentistry, primarily through Internet (44.5%) providers (36.3%). average self-assessed knowledge score 3.04 out 5, indicating moderate familiarity concepts. Attitudes generally positive, 54% expressing belief effectiveness. However, significant portion sample showed reluctance using routine check-ups, only 45.1% showing willingness. Enhancing Patient Safety Through Effective Interprofessional Communication: A Focus on Medication Error Prevention
