This study examines the role of green digital transformational leadership (GDTL) in enhancing sustainability performance hotel industry through mediating mechanism circular economy (CE) practices and moderating effects otel efficacy (HGE). Grounded dynamic capabilities theory, natural resource-based view (NRBV) social exchange a novel conceptual model that bridges innovation, ecological stewardship, organizational psychology was proposed. The adopted quantitative approach used self-administered questionnaire survey to collect data from 402 employees across green-certified hotels Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. Participants were recruited using stratified sampling method ensure sectoral representation. Data analysis techniques included performing partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) Smart PLS 3.0. Key findings reveal GDTL directly influences three key aspects hotels, including environmental, economic, aspects. Likewise, CE significantly mediate linkage between performance. Notably, HGE strengthens GDTL-CE relationship, underscoring critical employee empowerment translating vision into regenerative practices. These results add growing literature on sustainable by revealing how tools like AI, blockchain, closed-loop systems can synergize support economic growth conserve resources.
