A Trend Analysis of the Challenges of International Students Over 21 Years

International
students
leave
their
countries
to
pursue
educational
goals
in
a
different
country
and
must
adapt
succeed.
However,
they
may
face
challenges
when
adapting
learning
new
culture.
This
study
investigates
the
common
international
host
summarizes
publishing
trends.
A
literature
search
of
peer-reviewed
articles
published
Scopus,
Taylor
&
Francis,
EBSCO
Host,
Web
Science,
Springer,
PubMed,
Wiley
Online
over
21
years
(2002–2022)
was
done
for
data
collection.
After
screening,
total
175
were
included
this
review
analyzed
with
content
analysis.
The
findings
show
that
top
four
destinations
(USA,
UK,
Australia,
Canada)
produced
most
about
students’
challenges.
Additionally,
papers
investigated
more
than
one
challenge,
sociocultural
(82.9%)
academic
(82.3%)
researched,
language
issues
as
primary
cause.
results
also
no
changes
or
improvement
years,
areas
such
psychological
economic
need
research.
These
other
trends
found
are
discussed
directions
future
research
suggested.

This
descriptive
survey
investigates
the
influence
of
technology-integrated
curriculum
resources
on
student
engagement
and
academic
achievement
in
tertiary
institutions
Sokoto
State,
Nigeria.
The
study
addresses
four
research
questions
focusing
educators'
understanding
technology
integration,
its
impact
achievement,
role
socioeconomic,
cultural,
infrastructural
factors.
Data
were
collected
from
318
participants
using
a
structured
questionnaire
analysed
descriptively.
Findings
reveal
positive
perception
integration
among
educators,
with
high
mean
scores
indicating
strong
favourable
attitudes
towards
resources.
However,
variability
exists
specific
beliefs
practices,
highlighting
need
for
targeted
professional
development
policy
support.
Moreover,
while
students
perceive
positively
aspects
like
assignment
completion
curiosity,
there
are
lower
ratings
making
learning
exciting
connecting
to
subjects.

This
research
investigates
academic
staff's
behavioural
intentions
and
technological
readiness
regarding
integrating
mobile
devices
for
instructional
delivery
among
tertiary
institutions
in
Sokoto
State,
Nigeria.
Descriptive
statistics
were
used
to
analyse
responses
from
325
staff
members
their
intentions,
readiness,
challenges,
perceptions
of
device
integration.
The
findings
reveal
a
generally
positive
disposition
towards
utilisation,
with
high
mean
scores
indicating
willingness
integrate
into
teaching
activities
impact
on
student
learning
outcomes.

challenges
such
as
inadequate
infrastructure,
limited

opportunities,
resistance
change,

is

AR

Numerous
scholars
have
emphasized
the
advantages

travelling
abroad
to
enhance
one's
skills.
Nevertheless,
pandemic
has
revealed
immense
importance
digital
skills

every
aspect

current
information-based
society.

is
an
increased
demand
for
both
physical
and
workplaces.
As
a
result,
universities
must
modify
their
educational
programs

requirements

students
with
abilities

work
environment.

study,
we
focused
on
developing
competence
levels
international
teachers
during
International
Week
event
using
e-toolkit
acceptance
that
tool
following
mixed-method
approach.
Our
results
showed
significant
improvement

dimensions
competencies

content
creation
problem-solving.
Additionally,
valuable

shown
regarding
participants'
perceptions
e-toolkit's
usefulness
ease
use.
This
study
