Neonatal
sepsis
refers
to
the
bacterial
bloodstream
infections
of
newborn
during
neonatal
period
as
usually
first
twenty-eight
days
life.
The
current
study
was
done
in
laboratories
AL-Batool
Teaching
Hospital
for
Gynecology
and
Pediatrics
Baqubah,
Diyala
Governorate,
including
140
blood
specimens
collected
from
neonates
admitted
hospital
with
suspected
sepsis,
ages
both
groups
ranged
1
day
28
days.
Out
total
cultured
samples,
32.14%
(45
140)
were
positive
67.86%
(95
negative
culture.

group.
results
showed
highest

Coagulase

Staphylococcus

These
biofilm-forming

Microbial
infection
