Aim/Purpose: The present study aims to frame the relationship between job and personal resources (namely, organizational identification emotional intelligence), burnout, musculoskeletal disorders (i.e., back pain, upper limb lower discomfort), into theoretical framework provided by JD-R health model. Background: Empirical research indicates a connection burnout onset of problems, one most important occupational issues affecting all jobs organizations. In light model, we investigated association with disorders. Methodology: An anonymous online questionnaire was answered 320 workers (82.4% female, Mage = 42.18; SDage 12.24) investigating their perceived level presence pain (back, neck, shoulder), intelligence. Descriptive analysis, correlation, moderated mediation model were performed using SPSS. Contribution: We confirmed role in salutogenic process considered Emotional intelligence, decreasing limited development Moreover, when presented low medium levels, intelligence strengthened. Findings: Our results showed negative, indirect effect on via burnout. found moderation organization, indicating that at levels identification, is stronger. Recommendation for Researchers: addition work factors involved link disorders, it also consider factors, which can decrease occurrence adverse consequences. Future Research: developments could contribute deeper understanding mechanisms linking as well objective indicators or ecological data collection methodologies (e.g., momentary assessment), identify patterns associations

Teachers and educators are experiencing turmoil under the drastic changes in educational practices caused by COVID-19 pandemic. According to research, transformational leaders effectively facilitate organizational change fostering teachers’ sense of belonging boosting social identity their team members, which can result better well-being via higher cohesion. Recently, research has increasingly explored role emotional contagion its relationship with leadership. Accordingly, current study aims delve deeper into linking leadership cohesion among teachers school setting. To this purpose, 581 from northern Italy filled out a self-report questionnaire (72.1% female, Mage = 47.06, SDage 11.42). A moderated mediation model was tested assess mediating identification between how may moderate association. The obtained results provided support hypothesized model. Overall, present corroborates critical principals’ behavior greater teachers, is associated This constitutes an early attempt gain more insight variables explaining influence behavior.

Work-related stress significantly jeopardizes employees’ physical and mental health due to the considerable time they spend at work. Smartphone-based interventions provide a promising solution, eliminating traditional face-to-face interventions’ barriers. However, elements that influence workers’ intentions use this still remain unexplored. This study explores link between belief model (HBM) technology acceptance (TAM) factors. In study, 336 Italian workers (64% female) answered an online questionnaire. We employed structural equation (SEM) analyze data. The results unveiled indirect relationship: individuals perceiving risks were more inclined stress-management apps, mediated by perceived utility (PU). underscores significant potential of integrating HBM with TAM in predicting users’ preparedness for smartphone-based interventions. These findings not only hold substantial value but also illuminate path forward professionals organizations, offering insights tailor optimize smartphone tools management promotion workplace well-being. Ultimately, research paves way cultivation healthier work environments, marking noteworthy contribution field.

Este estudo investiga a prevalência da síndrome de burnout e características associadas entre professores do ensino superior em Portugal. A amostra é constituída por 19 superior. O adota uma abordagem quantitativa, tendo instrumento o Maslach Burnout Inventory – Educators Survey (MBI-ES) para medir as dimensões exaustão emocional (EE), despersonalização (DP) realização pessoal (RP). análise descritiva revelou predominância níveis baixos EE DP, moderados RP os participantes. As análises estatísticas inferenciais exploraram relação variáveis demográficas, como idade, sexo tipo instituição (pública privada). Os resultados indicam que significativamente influenciado pelo ambiente organizacional, com instituições privadas apresentar mais elevados comparativamente aos seus pares públicas. Reforça-se importância estratégias intervenção integrem apoio psicológico reformas organizacionais prevenir mitigar burnout.
