Introduction: During emergencies, individuals and communities often react in a variety of ways, including panic response. However, the study response is limited due to narrow assessment tools that measure only one or two dimensions human (eg, physiology, cognition, emotion, behavior). We conducted a large-scale survey covering 58 countries and over 100,000 respondents between late March early April 2020 to study beliefs attitudes towards citizens' governments' responses at the onset of COVID-19 pandemic. This study examines the evolution of Schwartz's Basic Human Values during COVID-19 outbreak, and their relationships with perceived threat, compliance movement restrictions social distancing. An online questionnaire was administered to a heterogeneous sample French citizens (N = 1025) first lockdown related outbreak. Coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) has had a strong psychological impact on the Italian population. Italy was heavily affected by virus before other countries in Europe, experiencing highest number of deaths.
