To
better
understand
the
mechanisms
at

neutrophil
functions
during
SARS-CoV-2,
we
studied
patients
with
severe
COVID-19
pneumonia.
They
had
high
blood
proportion

neutrophils
and
elevated
plasma
levels
myeloperoxidase
(MPO),
elastase,
MPO-DNA
complexes,

markers
