The growing demand for food of animal origin has contributed to the annual increase in agricultural population productive animals world, which turn led a significant shortage feeds and an their cost. Therefore, purpose this research was explore qualitative composition feed products obtained by culturing methanotrophic microorganisms Methylococcus capsulatus with probiotic bacteria Bacillus subtillis. Arbitrage methods determining quality feeds, are regulated regulatory documents (ISO), were used research. results demonstrate that protein product culture high content “crude” at level 60.9%, corresponds high-protein its technical characteristics. addition subtillis medium cultivation significantly improved parameters synthesised increasing 1.5% amount essential amino acids, 3.8% fatty acids concentration calcium phosphorus. lysine, isoleucine, valine asparagic acid, due cocultivation two allowed nutritional value cattle since these most demanded ruminant diets when using corn silage other plant feeds. reducing fibre improving biological characteristics changing microbiological product. In future, biotechnological method obtaining will reduce dependence breeding on fodder crops weather conditions

Abstract Aquaculture has been the fastest‐growing food production sector and is considered to be so in future. However, aquaculture feed heavily dependent on wild‐captured forage fish, which unsustainable, costly non‐ecofriendly. Hence, development of sustainable, eco‐friendly, cost‐effective nutrient‐balanced novel fishmeal alternatives critical satisfying forecasted expansion aquaculture. Among alternatives, attention one‐carbon gas protein (C1GP) reached an unprecedented level recently. The C1GP produced through fermentation certain unique microorganisms by utilizing substrates from C1‐related industrial exhaust gases, such as CH 4 , CO 2 take much less time, land, water resources, remove greenhouse gases waste materials, offer sustainable sources. These products, either or soybean meal have successfully used fish shrimp diets. This review introduces latest research progress microorganisms, technology, nutrition products using C1 substrate, well their application aquafeed. With rapid synthetic biotechnology engineering it will become important field future construction new strains technology with high transformation efficiency, wide adaptation abundant nutrients for ingredients

Single cell protein (SCP, or microbial protein) is one of the emerging alternative sources to address global challenge food insecurity. Recently, SCP produced from methane has attracted substantial attention since a renewable resource attainable anaerobic digestion. However, supply methane, an insoluble gas in water, major challenges producing methane-based SCP. This work developed novel bioreactor configuration, which hollow fiber membrane was used for efficient while microorganisms were growing suspended form favourable biomass harvest. Over 312-day operation, impacts three critical parameters on production investigated, including ratio loading ammonium loading, oxygen and sludge retention time (SRT). Under condition 4 g CH

A 10-week growth study was conducted to evaluate the effect of a natural gas fermentation bacterial meal (FeedKind®, FK) as fishmeal (FM) alternative in largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) (48.0 ± 0.03 g). Four isonitrogenous and isoenergetic diets were formulated including one commercial control (C, 42% FM) three experimental with gradient FK 3% (FK3, 29%FM), 6% (FK6, 26%FM) 9% (FK9, 23%FM), respectively. FK-fed groups showed significantly higher SR than that C group. The WGR SGR fish fed FK3 FK6 those FK9, but not statistical different from apparent digestibility coefficients dry matter nutrients. Further, increased ratio SOD/MDA plasma liver, upregulation intestinal Keap1 downregulation HIF1α found FK3. Furthermore, microbial richness diversity. Pearson correlation analysis antioxidant relevant biomarkers negatively correlated relative abundance certain potential beneficial bacteria. In conclusion, supplemented up 3-6% replacing FM low diet could increase growth, survival rate, capacity, improve gut microbiota.

The development of sustainable aquaculture relies on replacing marine raw materials like fish meal (FM) and oil (FO). Emerging alternatives, such as single-cell proteins alternative lipids, offer promise. This study explored the effects partially substituting FM with 10% bacterial protein (Methylococcus capsulatus) completely FO a blend poultry (PO) DHA-rich microalgae in European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) unselected (WT) selected (HG) genotypes. results indicated that had no adverse impact growth. HG group demonstrated better growth feed conversion due to genetic selection. also analysed dietary genotype body lipid composition fatty acid profiles. Notably, lower levels major acids (EPA, DHA, n-3 FAs, LC-PUFAs) their fillets, but not whole-body composition. These differences influenced sensory qualitative aspects. Electronic analyses (the first e-sensory profiling conducted for purposes fish) showed more significant diet WT group, less variable pattern e-tongue score group. volatile profiles differences. In summary, combining genotypes innovative feeds is step forward aquaculture. It maximizes nutrient utilization, enhances growth, improves product quality. approach becomes increasingly important scenarios limited FM/FO availability, promoting sustainability
