Introduction. Respiratory infections, including influenza, are often accompanied by hepatitis in humans which pathogenesis is not fully understood. According to the available datan D deficiency presumably a risk factor occurrence of acute respiratory viral infections due its modulation immune response. Recent studies indicate that several plant compounds can interact with vitamin receptors (VDRs) and modulate activity VDRs. The biologically active components saponins have found widespread use clinical practice their wide range biological pharmacological effects mechanisms still largely unclear. Aim. To study effect oral administration saponin tauroside Sx1, obtained from Crimean ivy, on life expectancy activation liver mice during experimental infection varying severity. Materials methods. 11 subgroups were formed male BALB/c mice, used experiment depending infectious dose influenza virus, 5 LD 50 virus or 10 respectively, control. Saponin Sx1 was as corrector. Immunohistochemical carried out automatically BOND-MAX immunohistainer (Leica, Germany). Primary rabbit polyclonal antibodies receptor used. Results discussion. Due at 200 μg/mouse/day increases average animals receiving 4.6 days. Reducing IV also changed onset death 2 days both groups. With different doses 10th day subgroups, expression changes without correction. In subgroup 2V, number total positive cells lower than control group. Moreover, 2Vir subgroup, VDR significantly higher Conclusion. µg/mouse/day has fairly pronounced antiviral A/H1N1 manifested an increase (for days) decrease mortality rate severe infection, compared group, where 100 % observed 14th experiment. introduction 4th all reduces intensively express VDR.

Takeda G protein-coupled receptor 5 (TGR5), also known as bile acid 1 (GPBAR1), is a cell surface involved in key physiological processes, including glucose homeostasis and energy metabolism. Recent research has focused on the role of TGR5 activation preventing or treating diabetes while highlighting its potential impact progression diabetic complications. Functional foods edible plants have emerged valuable sources natural compounds that can activate TGR5, offering therapeutic benefits for management. Despite growing interest, studies by dietary bioactive remain scattered. This Review aims to provide comprehensive analysis how bioactives act agents managing It explores mechanisms through both direct agonistic effects indirect pathways via modulation gut microbiota

Lianhuaqingwen (LHQW) capsules, a Chinese patent medicine, consist of 13 herbal ingredients and are widely used for respiratory diseases. However, the complex composition LHQW poses challenges in assessing its quality consistency. In this study, comprehensive network was constructed by integrating Digital RNA with pertUrbation Genes (DRUG)-seq, sequencing, pharmacodynamic data. This enables rapid systematic screening compounds that exhibit high-exposure vivo significant activity potential, serving as potential control markers. details, DRUG-seq employed to evaluate gene expression alterations peripheral blood mononuclear cells derived from healthy volunteers. Ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography coupled high-resolution mass spectrometry (UPLC-HRMS) analyze components rats, identifying total 505 compounds. Additionally, absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion (ADME) profiles were plotted 27 primary LHQW. And an HPLC-MS/MS method quantified 46 LHQW, 15 them identified markers high exposure levels. These exhibited inhibitory effects on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced pneumonia mice, mechanisms predicted RNA-seq verified RT-qPCR. summary, study successfully "Herbs- Compounds-targets-pathways" network, offering novel insights into establishing foundation enhancing measures.

This study evaluates the phenolic and flavonoid contents, as well antioxidant, antidiabetic, anti-glycation properties of aqueous methanolic extracts from Pistacia lentiscus L. leaves. The antioxidant activity was assessed using DPPH, ABTS, FRAP, iron-chelation assays, revealing superior in extract. Both exhibited potent antidiabetic effects by inhibiting digestive enzyme alpha-amylase, with IC50 values 2,291 ± 0.002 μg/mL (aqueous) 2,889 (methanolic). Additionally, demonstrated significant activity, reducing advanced glycation end-product (AGE) formation, fructosamine levels, protecting thiol groups, extract providing greater protection. These findings underscore potential P. a natural source bioactive compounds for managing oxidative stress diabetes-related complications.

Abstract Childhood rhinitis is an inflammatory condition affecting the nasal mucosa of children worldwide. The physical, social, and cognitive performance affected by chronic symptoms childhood rhinitis. Effective treatment essential to avoid long-term effects on children’s lifestyles well-being. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been used treat prevent several illnesses, it plays a crucial role in healthcare rehabilitation. TCM traditionally holistically However, drawbacks TCMs, such as their poor water solubility, low bioavailability, single-use, targeting ability, severely restrict use. In recent years, nanotechnology for various drugs improve therapeutic effectiveness reduce associated adverse effects. Nanomaterials formulations are synthesized be compatible with herbal extracts sustain active component qualities. Nanocarrier-based drug delivery improves circulation time, targeted distribution, resolving administration issues. This review assesses innovative combination developments rhinitis, providing insights into novel approaches. also provides significant potential this multidisciplinary approach transform techniques offers road map future research initiatives promising sector.
