This research characterized and explored the effect of cumin essential oil nanoemulsion (CEONE) on broiler growth performance, serum biochemistry, hematological parameters, cecal microbial count. Day-old (n = 96) broilers (Ross 308) were randomly assigned to six treatments with five replicates three each. The dietary consisted negative control (only basal diet), positive (basal diet + 200 µL enrofloxacin), 25 CEONE), 50 75 100 CEONE). broiler’s body weight gain (BWG) after 42 days treatment exhibited increased in CEONE group (976.47 ± 11.82–1116.22 29.04). was further evidenced by beneficial microbe load (107 log) compared pathogenic strain. All biochemical parameters observed normal range, except for a higher level HDL lower LDL value. safety has been validated pKCSM toxicity analysis showing safe highly tolerable dose cuminaldehyde. In conclusion, this potential as multifunctional agent. It is valuable candidate application combating bacterial infections enhancing animal health growth.

Broilers have a robust metabolism and high body temperature, which make them less tolerant to high-temperature (HT) environments more susceptible challenges from elevated temperatures. Gut microbes, functioning as symbionts within the host, possess capacity significantly regulate physiological functions environmental adaptability of host. This study aims investigate effects gut microbial intervention on temperature thermogenesis broilers at different ambient temperatures, well underlying mechanism involving "gut-brain" axis.

Chronic heat stress has detrimental effects on the growth performance of broilers, and potential mechanism is under exploration. In this study, protein carbonyl modification was introduced to glycolytic enzymes evaluate its relationship with heat-stressed (HS) broilers. A total 144 male 28-day-old broilers were assigned 3 treatments: normal control group (NC, raised at 22°C free access feed water), HS (raised 32°C pair-fed (PF, an amount equal that consumed by a previous day). Results showed decreased average daily growth, increased feed-to-gain ratio (F/G), breast muscle rate, abdominal fat rate compared NC PF groups (P < 0.05). Higher cloacal temperature serum creatine kinase activity found in than those Heat contents carbonyl, advanced glycation end-products, malonaldehyde, activities catalase, glutathione peroxidase, antioxidant capacity glucose lactate, declined glycogen content, lowered relative expressions pyruvate type, lactate dehydrogenase type (LDHA), citrate synthase contrast groups, intensified carbonylation levels phosphoglucomutase 1, triosephosphate isomerase β-enolase, LDHA, which positively correlated F/G These findings demonstrate depresses account oxidative glycolysis disorders. It further increases enzymes, potentially correlates disturbing mode energy supply

The aim of the current study was to investigate potential in ovo-fed amino acids (AA) reduce effects heat stress on finishing broiler chickens. To achieve this, a total 1,400 fertile hatching eggs were randomly distributed into 5 groups (n = 280/group) and injected with one following ovo treatments embryonic day 18: 52 µL sterile diluent/egg (CTRL), CTRL + 1.0 mg L-Leucine (T1), 0.45 leucine 1.15 methionine (T2), 3.0 2.0 cysteine (T3), 0.40 1.60 (T4). After hatch, chicks allocated according complete randomized block design comprising 2 thermal conditions: thermoneutral (24°C, 45% RH) (34°C, 55-60% pens/group/condition. cyclical regimen (10 h/d) then applied from d 29 34. Compared group, T3 T4 exhibited higher BW during starter phase (P < 0.001). also had lower feed conversion ratio (FCR) than this same 0.03). During grower phase, males all treatment consistently compared which not observed among female birds (PSex × TRT 0.005). finisher effect performance significant. However, heat-stressed group facial temperatures (Pday 0.001) as well plasma (Pcondition x 0.039) liver malonaldehyde concentrations group. In conclusion, AA have modulate chickens by limiting its detrimental consequences, including increased body temperature oxidative damage.

This study evaluated the nutritional effect of dried olive pulp (OP), on broilers’ thermal comfort, growth parameters and welfare in a commercial poultry farm during hot season. A number 108 Cobb male broilers, 19 d olds were allocated into three dietary groups: controls (CON), OP3 OP6, based level OP added to their diet (0%, 3% 6%). The comfort broilers was assessed using temperature–humidity index (THI). Broilers’ body temperature (BT) determined weekly. beneficially affected performance undergoing very severe heat stress, as indicated by increased weight gain (BWG) recorded groups compared CON first week experiment higher (BW) fed chickens at 26 age (p < 0.05). At age, OP6 had lower BT (40.55 ± 0.06 °C) than (40.78 0.09 positive like feather cleanliness panting behaviour 6% also recorded. Using feedstuff is promising feeding strategy for alleviating adverse effects stress; it offers potential recycle by-products, leading an efficient waste-based circular economy.

This experiment determined the effects of different HS models and pair-feeding (PF) on nutrient digestibility markers stress, inflammation, metabolism in broilers. Birds (720 total) were allocated into 12 environmentally controlled chambers reared under thermoneutral conditions until 20 d. Until 41 d birds exposed to 4 treatments, including: at 24°C (TN-al), daily cyclic (12 h 24 35°C; cyHS), constant 35°C (coHS), PF maintained fed equalize FI with coHS (TN-coPF). At 41, ileal digesta collected determine apparent (AID). Blood, liver, breast tissues from 8 per treatment mRNA expression markers. An additional TN-al sampled after acute exposure for (aHS), cyHS either right before or initiation. Data analyzed by one-way ANOVA means separated using Tukey's HSD test. Compared birds, AID nitrogen ether extract reduced both (P < 0.05) total essential amino acids. TNFα SOD2 increased aHS, coHS, TN-coPF conditions. IL6 HSP70 respectively. Expression lipogenic enzymes ACCα FASN TN-coPF, while lipolytic enzyme ATGL 0.05). IGF1 was lowered p70S6K MyoG Interestingly, MuRF1 MAFbx only. Overall, these results indicate that has a greater impact than aHS cyHS. protein degradation during appears be mostly driven se not FI.

Abstract This study investigated the impact of heat stress on growth and carcass traits in four poultry genotypes—Giriraja, Country chicken, Naked Neck Kadaknath reared a hot humid tropical environment. Birds from all genotypes had ad libitum access to feed water while being challenged with consistently high environmental temperatures experimental shed. Daily diurnal meteorological data were recorded inside outside The specifically examined variables characteristics. Significant differences ( p < 0.01) observed body weight average daily gain at various intervals. Notably, intake showed significant across weeks, indicating interactions between time conversion ratio (FCR) varied significantly 0.01), highest FCR breed. Livability percentages similar groups, except for Giriraja, which lower livability 0.01). Carcass traits, including dressing, wings, feathers giblet percentages, among Hepatic mRNA expression growth‐related genes revealed numerical variations, displaying 0.05) fold change IGF‐1 compared other genotypes. recognized genotype possess higher resilience maintaining homoeostasis uncompromised under stress, providing valuable insights sustainable farming challenging conditions.
