Rice
breeding

Understanding
agronomic
traits
at
a
genetic
level
enables
the
leveraging

produce
crops

in
plant
breeding
is

are

that
can
alter
the
DNA

causing
mutations

level.
One

EMS
(ethyl-methane
sulfonate),
which
produces

plants,
but
a
lesser
degree
also
cause
loss

chromosomal
region.
This
study

enzyme
