Higher education organizations have been influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic. During school closures, online teaching and learning has become a new routine that may lead to changes in lifestyles adversely affect university students’ health. Abstract Background Video gaming is a recreational activity with yearly increasing popularity. It mostly sedentary behavior combined repetitive movements of the upper limbs. This scoping review synthesises published literature on the experiences of professional and amateur performing artists during COVID-19 their perceptions challenges opportunities faced. Six electronic databases were searched for English-language articles containing primary data this topic; twenty-one studies reviewed. Themes included loss work, financial impact, concerns about future, psychological wellbeing, social connections, continuing creative pursuits, inequalities. Participants reported both detrimental effects lockdown such as anxiety sleep problems positive including reduced stress enjoyment having more free time. Most continued pursuits throughout lockdown, most commonly shifting to online platforms. However, many barriers reported, lack technological expertise or equipment. Concerns raised inequality, in particular racial disparities impact pandemic additional pressures faced by performers with disabilities; insufficient funds afford equipment needed shift remote performing; caring responsibilities. Abstract This mixed-methods study delves into the impact of leisure activities on well-being retirees in Saudi Arabia, focusing health, emotional balance, social integration, and self-fulfillment. In quantitative phase, 545 were selected through a snowball sampling, providing diverse sample age, gender, socio-economic status, educational background. Data collected using structured questionnaire analyzed SPSS. The qualitative phase involved randomly selecting 23 participants from initial cohort for semi-structured interviews, with data subjected to thematic analysis deeper insights. Findings revealed moderate overall enhancement attributed activities, health benefits being most significantly improved. Emotional showed enhancements, while self-fulfillment less pronounced. Demographic variations evident, education level influencing perceived benefits. Qualitatively, importance cultural alignment was highlighted, underscoring their role connectivity personal development. underscores need culturally sensitive accessible programs tailored varied needs retired population Arabia.
