Employee innovative behavior is crucial for organizations to engage in activities and gain competitive advantages the context of digital transformation. Despite many studies having focused on relationship between leadership employee behavior, role underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Using cognitive–affective processing system framework, study investigated dual mediating psychological empowerment affective commitment moderating a proactive personality such relationships. Employing data from 359 employees, conducted structure equation modeling examine hypotheses. The results show that influences through but not commitment.
