Aim/Purpose: This study aims to examine the influence of digital competences, technology acceptance, and individual factors (gender educational level) on academic achievement in Physical Education Sports Science (PESS). Background: Prior research has established a positive correlation between competences performance, but mediating role acceptance remains unclear. Furthermore, there is no evidence literature about this relationship among students pursuing degrees PESS. Methodology: A survey was administered 344 The Students’ Digital Competence Scale (SDiCoS) measured while Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) assessed acceptance. Academic performance evaluated based students’ GPAs. Contribution: paper investigated competence within TAM framework its performance. We propose that variables positively impact intention use tools for learning. aligns with principles, where attitude toward predict actual use. Our findings further strengthen understanding by confirming strong connections perceived ease use, usefulness, technology. Additionally, suggests frequent device usage patterns might be more prevalent postgraduate education. Findings: investigation supports link PESS students. Specifically, variables, particularly attitudes intentions regarding significantly predicted these Interestingly, direct association found SDiCoS were associated Gender differences emerged, females reporting higher proficiency Communicate, Collaborate, Share (CCS) competences. reported stronger technology, utilization laptops/tablets. Subsequent found considerable individual differences in adjustment ERT and identified resilience as a critical factor for coping challenges of independent studying. The growing evidence led calls training preparation emergency situations. Against backdrop three-phase model self-regulated learning, this study examines learning activities an additional protective resource predictor academic performance ERT. Results from survey resilience, strategies, competence gain completed by universities US Germany ( N = 333) strategies be more predictive student than resilience. As consequence, addition fostering institutions should also include self-regulation support programs better prepare success.

The Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu) is critical in 21st-century education, which helps educators teach digital literacy to students. However, published empirical evidence regarding pre-service English teachers’ competence creating interactive instructional materials with specific software applications remains scarce. This paper grounded on the implementation courses at an Indonesian state university, aiming developing EFL competencies designing using PowerPoint, Audacity, CapCut, Inknoe ClassPoint, Filmora, Internet, and Canva (hereafter PACIFIC). describes self-reported abilities challenges they encountered PACIFIC-based teaching after completing these courses. Guided by DigCompEdu framework, primary data from six focus group interviews a total number 30 participants were analyzed thematic analysis. study indicates that teachers reported adequate level four aspects framework. They also several while materials, mostly related resources, such as internet connectivity subscription access PACIFIC software. These findings highlight need for better resource allocation support improve performance materials.

The rapid evolution of online learning necessitates the agility future educators. Future teachers’ technological attitudes and abilities will be affected by explication role technology in teacher education. Therefore, preservice teachers must prepared to implement their classrooms. This study investigated effect pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) competency on acceptance model (TAM)-measured intention use from two perspectives: self-confidence self-regulation. Thus, six hypotheses are proposed investigate relationship between TPACK proficiency intent technology. population 224 at one Indonesian tertiary institution was analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) confirm five hypotheses. It is stated that toward competence positively correlate with self-regulation, self-efficacy, In addition, derived can account for approximately 53.8% integrate classrooms teachers.

In an increasingly digitalized world, pre-service and in-service teachers need subject-specific didactic competencies to be able plan their lessons appropriately use knowledge promote digital among students. Building on competency models such as the Technological pedagogical content (TPACK) framework, this article explores extent which specific relevant can developed through project work in a makerspace examines contextual factors technological self-efficacy, motivation technology acceptance influence development of teachers’ TPACK intention media. To end, 495 science from both intervention control groups completed pre-post questionnaire before after intervention. The data were used for structural equation modeling. results show that level is important predictor work. Furthermore, positively influences media future. Also, perceived usefulness professional information communication technologies (ICT) are strongly influenced by TPACK. Consequently, it appears significant enable low-threshold entry point at beginning study provide solid foundation upon more advanced built. Motivation correlated. The COVID-19 pandemic caused an abrupt change in higher education that had a profound impact on students. Pandemic distance learning required students to regulate their more independently and find new ways of communicating with peers instructors. This study focused how perceived the conditions they encountered during first semester took place online compared time before learning. primary aim this was determine whether students’ internal resource management strategies, intrinsic motivation, instruction format (synchronous, asynchronous, face-to-face) preferences were associated changes conditions. Students enrolled German university ( N = 330) answered questionnaire at end summer term 2020. Findings from structural equation modeling showed regulative resources attention motivation significant factors predicted relevance, quality, support However, our results show these did not social relatedness. Moreover, demonstrate for digital formats related student perceptions support, whereas face-to-face negative effects factors. Only preference (negative) effect Finally, revealed indirect through lesson formats. has important implications integration suggests institutions should implement various methods foster interaction regulation strategies.
