Abstract
Given
the
complexity
and
high
demands
of
research
supervision
intricate
emotional
experiences
supervisors,
there
is
a
need
to
explore
how
they
regulate
their
emotions,
particularly
across
various
disciplinary
backgrounds.
The
current
study
explored
emotion
regulation
strategies
employed
by
supervisors
during
process
supervising
graduate
students.
Based
on
data
collected
through
semi-structured
interviews,
observations,
documentation
from
six
in
different
institutions

seven
were
identified
further
categorized
into
two
groups,
that

antecedent-focused
(prevention,
intervention,
reinterpretation,
reconcentration,
