There is mounting evidence that regular physical activity an important prerequisite for healthy cognitive aging. Consequently, the finding almost one-third of adult population does not reach recommended level calls further public health actions. In this context, digital and home-based training interventions might be a promising alternative to center-based intervention programs. Thus, systematic review aimed summarize current state literature on effects performance.

This expert review aims describe the available software device used or interventions of patients with neurological disorders. Methods A scoping was carried out analyze commercial devices/software computerized (CCT) terms feasibility efficacy both clinical home settings. Several domains responding different patients’ needs are covered. Results showed that diseases is largely covered by several widely validated hospital setting but few translations remote/home applications. It has been demonstrated software-based potential valuable tools administer remotely accessible costs. Conclusion According our results, CCT entails possibility continue also settings, such as home, which a significant breakthrough improvement community care. Fibromyalgia (FM) syndrome is characterized by the close correlation of chronic widespread pain and other non-pain related symptoms. Aim this study was to investigate whether telerehabilitation that provides physical psychological support services mind-body techniques can affect clinical profile relief FM patients. The included twenty-eight female patients, mean aged 56.61 ± 8.56 years. All patients underwent a rehabilitation treatment (8 sessions, 1/week, 1 h/each) through Zoom platform, with following principles treatment: Anchoring positive emotion; listen perceive your "own" body; conscious breathing; improve interoceptive awareness; relax. then assessment distress fear movement for Numeric Rating Scale (NRS); Fatigue Assessment (FAS); Fear Avoidance Belief Questionnaire (FABQ); measures mental disability Impact (FIQ); 12-Items Short Form Survey; Resilience Adults Coping Strategies Questionnaire-Revised. evaluations were performed at T0 (baseline), T1 (after 8 weeks treatment), T2 month follow-up). main finding reduced distress, fear, (p < 0.001). coping ability less affected rehabilitative treatment. Our attempt technique has shown good results in improvement painful symptoms quality life but showed fewer impacts resilience abilities aspects.

Background: Physical inactivity among older adults persists as one of the global burdens. Older adults' physical activity (PA) levels decline simultaneously with age, causing health problems and poor outcomes. Immersive interventions, such mixed reality virtual coaches, are gaining potential to provide innovative solutions prevent adults. However, an in-depth understanding experience in using virtual-coach-driven exercise programs remains unexplored. Purpose: This study explored experiences community-dwelling a program. Design: applied phenomenological design qualitative approach determine lived about mother project, "Move Groove for Adults Program" (Hataw at Sigla para kay Lolo Lola), program MR. A semi-structured interview guide was crafted consisting three domains (acceptability, barriers, facilitators), each two open-ended questions. MAXQDA used thematically analyze data. Introduction Dual-task training may be relevant and efficient in the context of active aging. An issue programs lies enhancing adherence participants. This can potentially improved using games as support. We designed developed a custom interactive exergame this way. The objective pilot study was to explore potential use feasibility our intervention, including level safety adherence. result’s trends on cognitive motor capacities, well motivation for physical activity, fear falling, quality life participants, were also explored. Methods Older adults aged 65 years or older recruited realized 30 min supervised groups 4, 2–3 times week 12 weeks. Exercises consisted incorporated dual tasks, with an increased difficulty over Our program’s safety, engagement, attendance, completion levels evaluated. Participants’ postural control single-task dual-task conditions, their performances mental inhibition, flexibility, working memory, mobility, control, assessed. per protocol statistical analysis p -value set at 0.05. Results Thirty-nine participants (aged 84.6 ± 8.5 years) recruited. No adverse events, 89% adherence, 88% 87% rates observed. A significant effect memory conditions aspect observed no differences other parameters. Discussion seemed feasible safe enjoyed by mainly due gamification program. Efficient performance of most daily activities requires intact and simultaneous execution motor cognitive tasks. To mitigate age-related functional decline, various combinations training have shown promising results. The aim this systematic review meta-analysis randomized controlled trials (RCTs) was to evaluate the efficacy different types motor-cognitive interventions (e.g., sequential simultaneous) on selected outcomes in healthy older adults.Six online academic databases were used retrieve eligible RCTs up April 2021, following PRISMA guidelines PICO criteria. A random-effects model for all meta-analyses conducted outcomes: single- dual-task gait speed, Timed Up Go Test (TUG), Berg Balance Scale (BBS) score. Effect size (ES) calculated as Hedges' g interpreted as: trivial: <0.20, small: 0.20-0.60, moderate: 0.61-1.20, large: 1.21-2.00, very 2.01-4.00 or extremely large >4.00.From 2,546 retrieved records, 91 included (n = 3,745 participants; 64.7-86.9 years). differed according type sequential, with additional task exergame training. results showed that can improve speed under single-task conditions (small ES 0.34, P 0.003). effect intervention moderated by control group (Q 6.203, 0.013): passive (moderate 0.941, 0.001) vs. active controls (trivial 0.153, 0.180). No significant found walking (P 0.063). Motor-cognitive had a positive TUG 0.42, < 0.001), where [passive 0.73, 0.20, 0.020)], but not 0.064). Background Coping with residual cognitive and gait impairments is a prominent unmet need in community-dwelling chronic stroke survivors. Motor-cognitive exergames may be promising to address this need. However, many studies have so far implemented motor-cognitive exergame interventions an unstructured manner suitable application protocols remain yet unclear. We, therefore, aimed summarize existing literature on topic, developed training concept for stroke. Methods The development of the personalized (PEMOCS) followed Theory Derivation procedures. This comprised (1.1) thorough (narrative) search long-term rehabilitation; (1.2) wider beyond topic interest identify analogies, induce creativity; (2) identification parent theories; (3) adoption content or structure main theory; (4) induction modifications adapt it new field interest. We also considered several aspects “Framework Developing Evaluating Complex Interventions” by Medical Research Council.
