Introduction: Psychosocial theory of mental well-being suggests that coping, socioeconomic status, environmental resources such as perceived and received social support, personal self-efficacy can be related to psychological well-being. This meta-analysis examined how unemployment, a psychosocial stressor, influences post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex PTSD (CPTSD). It specifically explores unemployment as risk factor for trauma, with emphasis on CPTSD, investigates economic variables, including the GINI coefficient, potential moderators. A systematic search in Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed yielded 33 studies comprising more than 57,000 participants. Odds ratios (OR) were computed, random-effects model was used to synthesize findings. Meta-regression analyses conducted evaluate effects inequality (GINI) nominal gross domestic product (NGDP), but neither moderator reached statistical significance; this is addressed detail Discussion. The results revealed that significantly elevated (OR = 1.500; logOR 0.3826; PI: 0.457–4.702) CPTSD 2.180; 0.7430; 0.501–8.808), stronger impact CPTSD. Purpose: This study investigated the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on mental health, quality life, and family functioning in a sample general female population, exploring difficulties encountered managing work responsibilities burden care when taking loved one. was, moreover, aimed at investigating factors capable influencing severe depressive symptomatology context socio-demographics, traumatic events, individual vulnerability, functioning. Aims of the present study were to prospectively assess psychosocial functioning trajectories during COVID pandemic and possible impact sociodemographic variables, as well COVID-19 pandemic-related factors, on these trajectories, in a sample patients with pre-existing severe mental disorders. Moreover, we aimed at identifying predictors impairment over period 9 months pandemic.
