Reminiscence
studies

advantages.
Future
generations
gain

elders'
experiences,

adults
themselves
who
share
their
memories.
Despite
Oman's
sizable
geriatric
population,
research
on
individuals'
experiences
is
scarce.
Therefore,
this
study
aimed
to
explore
the
Omani
individuals
across
many
stages,
childhood
present.This
was
qualitative
design.
Convenience
sampling
employed
conducted
December
2021
October
2022.
A
total
13
(9
females
4
males),
with
an
average
age
68
years,
were
recruited
for
(response
rate
=
34%).
Socio-demographic
review
information
gathered
according
set
semi-structured
guiding
questions.
The
responses
then
captured
audio
recordings,
which
underwent
transcription
translation.
Thematic
analysis
techniques
applied
extracted
data.Three
main
themes
evident
in
study's
findings:
memories,
friendships,
relationships,
well
past.
Additionally,
passed
gems
wisdom
be
shared
younger
generations.This
aided
revealing
resiliency,
social
connections,
reflections
adults.
These
can
guide
creation
age-inclusive
laws,
support
initiatives,
healthcare
services
specifically
designed
satisfy
special
requirements
ambitions
elderly
population.
Based
these
themes,
recommended
that
local
community
or
society
build
more
sympathetic
compassionate
atmosphere
honors
respects
accomplishments
essential
group
recognizing
comprehending
complex

Abstract
Objective
This
study
sought
to
examine
whether
reminiscence
therapy
based
on
memories
of
hard
work
is
more
effective
than
enjoyment
for
promoting
positive
(i.e.,
quality
reminiscence)
associated
with
the
prevention
or
reduction
depressive
symptoms
in
community‐dwelling
older
people.
Methods
The
participants
were
26
people
(three
men
and
23
women)
aged
65
who
attended
an
elder
citizens'
club

salon.

interventions

Background
Emotion-oriented
approaches
