Reminiscence studies and life reviews have a number of proven advantages. Future generations gain by learning from elders' experiences, as do older adults themselves who share their memories. Despite Oman's sizable geriatric population, research on individuals' experiences is scarce. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the Omani individuals across many stages, childhood present.This was qualitative design. Convenience sampling employed conducted December 2021 October 2022. A total 13 (9 females 4 males), with an average age 68 years, were recruited for (response rate = 34%). Socio-demographic review information gathered according set semi-structured guiding questions. The responses then captured audio recordings, which underwent transcription translation. Thematic analysis techniques applied extracted data.Three main themes evident in study's findings: memories, friendships, relationships, well past. Additionally, passed gems wisdom be shared younger generations.This aided revealing resiliency, social connections, reflections adults. These can guide creation age-inclusive laws, support initiatives, healthcare services specifically designed satisfy special requirements ambitions elderly population. Abstract Objective This study sought to examine whether reminiscence therapy based on memories of hard work is more effective than enjoyment for promoting positive (i.e., quality reminiscence) associated with the prevention or reduction depressive symptoms in community‐dwelling older people. Methods The participants were 26 people (three men and 23 women) aged 65 who attended an elder citizens' club a salon. Participants randomly assigned either (recalling things they thought did well past) group group. In both groups, sessions lasted 30–50 min each, once week, 4 weeks. For assessment, we used Positive Negative Reminiscence Scale, Geriatric Depression Scale 15, Life Satisfaction Index Z. Analysis covariance using Bayesian statistics was conducted amount change each scale as objective variable. Gereç Yöntemler: Bu çalışmada, MDAT’ın demanslı yaşlı bireylerin fonksiyonları üzerindeki etkisini değerlendiren randomize kontrollü çalışmalar olarak incelenecektir. Literatür tarama çalışmaların seçimi gibi süreçlerde rehber çalışmaları için hazırlanmış olan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocols kontrol listesi kullanılacaktır. Araştırmanın verileri literatürde yayınlanmış çalışmalardan elde edileceği etik kurul onayına gerek duyulmamıştır. Arama dizeleri; “Wiley Online Library, Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, EBSCOhost CINAHL Compete Cochrane Library” veri tabanlarında taranacaktır. taraması, İngilizce dilinde, yıl sınırlaması yapılmadan, 16 Ocak 2024 tarihine kadar gerçekleştirilecektir. Tarama iki araştırmacı tarafından bağımsız yürütülecektir. Üçüncü işlemin doğruluğunu edecek uzlaşma sağlanamayan veriler uzman görüşü verecektir. Dâhil edilen ROB-2 aracı kullanılarak değerlendirilecektir. Veri ayıklama sürecinde incelenen incelenip ayıklanacak ilgili forma kaydedilecektir. In view of Singapore’s rapidly ageing population, this study is an exploratory pilot designed to assess the feasibility and potential impact virtual reality recreation therapy (VRRT) on homebound seniors. A tri-party research partnership was formed between Singapore University Social Sciences (SUSS), NTUC Health Home Care, Vue Reality Labs.
