Psychosocial drivers influencing local food purchasing: beyond availability, the importance of trust in farmers DOI Creative Commons

Zusammenfassung Bisher betrachten nur wenige Kommunen in Deutschland den Ernährungsbereich als Teil ihres kommunalen Wirkungsfeldes. Dabei reichen die Aufgaben von Städten und Gemeinden, beispielsweise im Bereich der öffentlichen Beschaffung, durchaus ernährungsrelevante Bereiche hinein. Dieser Beitrag zeigt zunächst auf, welche Wirkungsfelder Ernährung bereits heute bestehen. Dann wird Kontext Daseinsvorsore betrachtet. Dies erfolgt auch anhand zweier illustrativer Beispiele aus Praxis. Angesichts des Strukturwandels Land- Ernährungswirtschaft, zunehmenden negativen ökologischen, ökonomischen sozialen Auswirkungen Ernährungsbereiches, sowie Fragen Ernährungssicherheit auf lokaler Ebene, diskutiert potenzielle Aufgabe Daseinsvorsorge.

Introduction The Covid-19 pandemic affected food systems in many countries and emphasized a lot of already existing social, economic environmental agri-food problems. Alternative networks (AFNs), praised for their ability to improve the systems, were under stress, however, at same time, changed conditions may have opened new possibilities. In this paper we address importance AFNs during investigate how households participation AFNs. Our research is novel by simultaneously focusing on both market non-market which are often studied separately. Abstract Inadequate consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables is a persistent problem in many highly urbanized Global North countries. The research suggests that the intake influenced by households’ food production gardens. However, connection between home gardening, consumption, health far from straightforward, extant literature, evidence limited. Therefore, this study presents results quantitative exploring relationship frequency fruit vegetable human health. Three objective aspects were included analysis: cumulative occurrence high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol levels. In addition, subjective evaluation body mass index (BMI) considered. A large representative sample 1699 respondents completed questionnaire administered Czechia 2022. bivariate tests revealed significant all aspects. most these relationships mediated other factors. When sociodemographic characteristics controlled regression models, indicated gardeners eat more often have lower BMIs than nongardeners. Better was linked to frequent intake.
