Fusarium avenaceum is the predominant fungal pathogen responsible for root rot in Angelica crops and poses a serious threat to their commercial quality yield China. This fungus produces enniatin B (ENN B), toxin that could be pathogenicity virulence factor plant–pathogen interactions. Yet whether ENN exacerbates host infection onset of spp. caused by F. surprisingly understudied. Pathogenicity assays revealed co-inoculation with significantly increased disease index sinensis from 83.33% (pathogen alone) 92.86% (p < 0.05). Toxin degradation experiments showed bacteria Paenibacillus polymyxa Bacillus tequilensis were capable degrading 60.69% 70.02% B, respectively. Response surface optimization (24.5 °C, 22.01 mg/L 0.99% inoculum) enhanced B. 81.94%, 11.74% improvement. Three ester compounds identified LC-HRMS as potential products In planta trials demonstrated was 50.01% group co-inoculated avenaceum, 42.85% reduction compared avenaceum. study provides new microbial strategy controlling mycotoxin perspective, which can applied promote sustainable agricultural production.

Mycotoxins, secondary metabolites synthesized by various filamentous fungi genera such as Aspergillus, Penicillium, Fusarium, Claviceps, and Alternaria, are potent toxic compounds. Their production is contingent upon specific environmental conditions during fungal growth. Arising byproducts of metabolic processes, mycotoxins exhibit significant toxicity, posing risks acute or chronic health complications. Recognized highly hazardous food contaminants, present a pervasive threat throughout the agricultural processing continuum, from plant cultivation to post-harvest stages. The imperative adhere principles good industrial practice underscored mitigate risk mycotoxin contamination in production. In domain safety, rapid efficient detection holds paramount significance. This paper delineates conventional commercial methodologies for ensuring encompassing techniques like liquid chromatography, immunoassays, test strips, with emphasis on role electrochemiluminescence (ECL) biosensors, which known their high sensitivity specificity. These categorized into antibody-, aptamer-based, well molecular imprinting methods. examines latest advancements biosensors testing, particular focus amplification strategies operating mechanisms.

Dried fruits are popular and nutritious snacks consumed worldwide due to their long shelf life concentrated nutrient content. However, can be contaminated with various toxigenic fungal species during different stages, including cultivation, harvesting, processing, drying, storage. Consequently, these products may contain high levels of mycotoxins. This risk is particularly pronounced in developed countries the impact climate change. Several factors contribute mycotoxin production, type fruit, geographical location, conditions, harvest treatments, storage management practices. The main mycotoxins dried aflatoxins (AFs) ochratoxin A (OTA), which induce human health problems economic losses. Mycotoxin contamination vary significantly depending on geographic origin (vine fruits, figs, dates, apricots, prunes, mulberries). aim this review was fill knowledge gap by consolidating data from regions understand global picture identify higher risks. By research origins stages supply chain, intends shed light potential events pre-harvest, storage, trading, while also highlighting effects conditions change contamination.
