Many
lactic
acid
bacteria
(LAB),
known
for
their
human
health
benefits,
are
derived
from
milk
and
utilized
in
biotherapeutic
applications

producing
valuable
nutraceuticals.

LAB
biotherapeutics
remains
underexplored.
