A total ±120 were isolated from sick hybrid grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus x E. lanceolatus) placed in Petri dishes (6 dishes). Citric solution with 0, 50, 100, 150, 250, and 400 ppm was added petri plates. Immersion carried out 30, 60, 90 120 minutes. Each 30 arugamensis/treatment/30 minutes taken 3 (10 individuals/petri dish) filled seawater. Observations made on response arugamensis. Comments cocoon development into larvae. The safety test conducted cantang infected fish soaked seawater at concentrations 300 ppm. condition after 60 immersion. results showed that 250 effectively killed (76.67±15.28-100%), their reached (0%). concentration is still safe use immersion 250-300 can also release body. has antiparasitic properties lowers pH

Abstract A literature search approach (using Scopus®, Elsevier© database) was established to identify peer‐reviewed articles published in English between 1960 and 2023 dealing with ‘sustainable aquaculture’ focusing on specific aquaculture practices (aquaponics, integrated multi‐trophic aquaculture, biofloc recirculating systems). Text Mining combined Topic Analysis utilized extract information from the text data of papers identified. After an appropriate screening procedure, 1111 were selected. The analysis showed a gradual increase sustainable publications over time, peaking at more than 200 2023. first biofloc, systems as alternative began appear 2010, while studies aquaponics have only been since 2015. Most (40%) came Asia, line leadership this continent aquaculture. European also considerable interest practices, Italy (leader publications), Portugal Germany researchers contributing 111 subject past 30 years. This study identified main research topics observed how these evolved. analysed dealt mainly optimization aquatic life, genetic disease management. topic protein replacement feed important, term ‘diet’ most frequently papers. subjects could serve valuable primary source, offering opportunities for deeper examination, such systematic reviews or geographic regions.

Natural products serve as a valuable source of antioxidants with potential health benefits for various conditions. Lygodium microphyllum (Cav.) R. Br., also known Old World climbing fern, is an invasive fern native to Southeast Asia, Africa, South America, Australia, and Melanesia. It has been reported possess interesting pharmacological properties including hepatoprotective anti-inflammatory mechanisms. This study analyzed the bioactive metabolites that contribute antioxidant antimicrobial effects L. (LM) by profiling crude extract using high-resolution LC-MS/MS GC-MS systems. Several classes compounds such phenolics, flavonoids, terpenoids, steroids, macrolides, vitamins, lipids, other hydrocarbons were found in LM through non-targeted analysis. A total 74 detected LC-MS/MS, whereas nine identified GC-MS. Out 34 compounds, primarily quercetin, kaempferol, trifolin, pyroglutamic acid, arachidonic rutin antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, activities. The presence phenolic flavonoid bioactivities evidence its properties.

Cadmium (Cd) is one of the highly toxic, non-essential heavy metals that inhibit plant growth and development by prompting chlorophyll loss affecting photosynthetic activities. This study investigated efficacy Spirulina platensis Sargassum polycystum extracts in alleviating Cd stress Pak Choi at morpho-biochemical, anatomical, molecular levels. Different concentrations (0, 25, 50, 100 mL/L) S. polycyctum (SAR), (SPI), a mixture both (SS) were exposed to mg/kg Cd-contaminated seedlings. Non-Cd-treated without algal assigned as positive negative controls, respectively. The results showed application increased height, fresh weight (FW), dry (DW) extract level increased. was greatest 100SS with 37.51% (shoot length), 68.91% (root 110.8% DW), 216.13% while an increase 176.7% FW) 256.9% seen 100SPI treatment. Chlorophyll a, b, carotenoid, fluorescence significantly after treatment 100SS. Antioxidant enzymes CAT, APX, POD, protein mL/L 28.13% (100SS), 36.40% (100SAR), 46.92% 153.48% same also identified dominate root structures such total length, surface area, projected diameter, volume, tips, fork number. highest reduction content shoot observed 53.8% 39.88% decrease, Increasing concentration improved leaf histological characteristics substantially, stomatal size opening, mesophyll tissues, vascular bundles. In addition, fold change ratio Rubisco gene noticeably greater than other treatments, 0.99 when compared untreated sample. present illustrated have potential effectively alleviate plants, especially mixture. These findings contribute sustainable strategies for mitigating toxicity crops.

The resistance of the Haemonchus contortus , a parasite causing severe anemia in ruminants, to commercial anthelmintics emphasizes need for alternative bio-anthelmintics. This study aimed identify molecular, chemical composition, and vitro anthelmintic activity Sargassum duplicatum against H. . Molecular identification employed Chelex method, with DNA diversity phylogeny assessed using maximum likelihood IQ-tree. analyzed composition included proximate, total flavonoid, phenols. Adult worm motility test (AWMT) egg hatch inhibiting (EHIT) were conducted at concentrations 2, 4, 6 mg/mL S. ethanolic extract. AWMT followed completely randomized factorial design (5 replications, each 5 worms), while EHIT used one-way batches from 3 adult female worms). cox1 gene sequence revealed sample as (KP101270.1) 99.83% similarity. results indicated that identified extract, observation time significantly influenced hatchability (p<0.05). Both factors exhibited significant interaction Concentrations 4-6 reduced by up 50% (LD50) within 6-8 hours, 2-6 inhibited more than 87% during 24 hours incubation. In conclusion, holds potential bio-anthelmintic agent.
