The backfill mining method is adopted in many mines around the world because it can reliably handle underground mine tailings and eliminate dangers goafs. Industry 5.0 is on the horizon, but role of digital twins (DTs) as one its major technological enablers far from being understood. This article begins with a bibliometric analysis and systematic review, followed by discussion insights obtained literature through lens strong structuration theory. The results include description new paradigm future-oriented responsible physical-digital convergence, research agenda, proposal structure – agency (SA)–DT framework to guide advances in twins. The recent tailings storage facility (TSF) dam failures recorded around the world have concerned society in general, forcing mining industry to improve its operating standards, invest greater economic resources, and implement best available technologies (BATs) control TSFs for safety purposes avoid spills, accidents, collapses. In this context, as era of digitalization Industry 4.0 continues, monitoring based on sensors become increasingly common industry. This article studies state art implementing sensor monitor structural health management issues TSFs, highlighting advances experiences through a review scientific literature topic. methodology applied adheres Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines utilizes maps data visualization. To do so, three steps were implemented: (i) quantitative bibliometric analysis, (ii) qualitative systematic literature, (iii) mixed integrate findings from (ii). This work proposes a novel multi-camera system-based method for relative pose estimation and virtual–physical collision detection anchor digging equipment. It is dedicated to addressing the critical challenges of achieving accurate reliable between multiple devices during collaborative operations in coal mines. The key innovation that multi-target system established collect images, completed by EPNP (Efficient Perspective N-Point) algorithm based on infrared LED targets. With the increasing diversification of ore types and complexity processing techniques in mining industry, traditional decision-making methods for mineral flowsheets can no longer meet high efficiency intelligence requirements. This paper proposes a knowledge graph-based framework constructing mineral-processing design base reasoning, aiming at providing intelligent efficient decision support engineers. integrates Chinese NLP models text vectorization, optimizes prompt generation through Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, realizes graph construction, implements reasoning nonferrous metal using large models. By analyzing genetic characteristics ores requirements techniques, outputs reasonable flowsheet designs, which could help engineers save research time labor optimizing processes, selecting suitable reagents, adjusting process parameters.
