COVID-19 Pandemic Conditions Affecting QoL and Mental Health of Oncology Patients in Poland DOI Open Access

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused widespread disruptions in oncology care, significantly affecting both the quality of life (QoL) and mental health cancer patients. This study aimed to evaluate long-term impacts on patients, focusing periods before, during, after pandemic. Objective: objective this was assess changes QoL, illness acceptance, indicators, including risk depression, generalized anxiety, elevated stress levels, post-traumatic disorder (PTSD) among comparing these factors across pre-pandemic, pandemic, post-pandemic periods. The mental health of children and adolescents in the Chilean Educational System (ChES) has become a severe post-pandemic public problem. This cross-sectional study, which included 1,174 from five regions, used DASS-21 scale, focusing on determining prevalence depression, anxiety, stress, as well identifying associated risk factors. results exposed high stress (60.2%, 63.6%, 50.2%, respectively). Risk factors for depression involve being female, having separated parents, school, cell phone, difficulty sleeping, ruminative thoughts, low self-esteem. Abstract Background Intermittent fasting (IF) is a popular dietary plan for weight loss. In fact, common practice in different religions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. During the month of Ramadan, more than 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide fast from dawn to sunset. Ramadan diurnal intermittent (RDIF) has health benefits, including reduction cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk an improvement mood. However, little known about effects RDIF on lifestyle behaviors, regular exercise, consuming healthy diet, avoiding harmful substances, well mental stress, academic performance high school university students. Methods this prospective cohort study, two self-reported questionnaires were sent one week before during last (April 2022; 1443 Hijri Islamic Calendar) assess changes lifestyle, perceived achievement medical students at Taif University city, Saudi Arabia. Introduction: This investigation aimed to evaluate the effect of Matricaria chamomilla L essential oil on stress, anxiety, and sleep quality. Methods: The oils were extracted by hydrodistillation using a modified Clevenger-type apparatus, chemical composition was performed Gas chromatographymass spectrometry (GC–MS). Background. The phenomenon of burnout among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic is a widespread problem with several negative consequences for system. many stressors have led to an increased development anxiety and depressive disorders in workers.
