Methods Major (CNKI, Wanfang, VIP) English (PubMed, Embase, PsycInfo) databases preprint platforms were searched identify cross-sectional containing data Two authors independently retrieved literature, evaluated eligibility potential studies, bias (RoB) included extracted data. RoB with Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Checklist Studies Reporting Prevalence Data. Results In total, 1177 records retrieved, 84 involving 1 292 811 included. None rated as completely low RoB. Statistically significant heterogeneity estimates detected ( I 2 = 99.9%, p < 0.001). pooled 26.0% (95%CI: 23.3–28.9%), which significantly higher female than male (30.8% v . 28.6%, 0.001), postgraduates undergraduates (29.3% 22.9%, living inside those outside epicentre (27.5% 22.3%, P from universities (26.2% 23.1%, who had close contact did not (46.0% 25.0%, acquaintances or relatives infected (39.7% 24.0%, 0.001) not. Five sources identified subgroup analysis: survey period, % males among sample, scale symptoms, cutoff score level Conclusions Over one-fourth experienced Mental services should include periodic evaluation expanded social support psychiatric assessment treatment when necessary.
